AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) are automatic vehicles (without operator) which are used to transport goods from point to point within a plant. These systems optimize times, operations, safety and therefore productivity and costs.
The AGV MAXIMUM line, entirely designed and built by the MPS Engineering company from Salerno (Italy), is used for moving goods with heavy loads (up to 500 tons!) and is in fact used in the defense sector (for moving tanks and military vehicles), naval (for the handling of heavy loads inside ports and shipyards), wind power (for the transport of turbines and wind blades), railway (for the handling of heavy loads – by road or rail) , nuclear (for the handling and transport of heavy loads) and aeronautical (for the handling of large aeronautical components).
AGV MAXIMUM operates 24 hours a day, is powered by magnetic induction on the floor, can move and rotate freely inside and outside a factory and can lift loads.
