Juan Carlos Arnáu & Ángela García: Ajusa’s main area of activity is the manufacturing of sealing solutions and sealing parts for light and industrial vehicles. It also has a line of machining and chemical products such as sealants and lubricants for the engine.

E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?

J.C.A & Á.G: The most recent product line that Ajusa has launched is components for electric vehicles.

E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?

J.C.A & Á.G: The main components that Ajusa manufactures are cylinder head gaskets and gasket sets, cylinder head bolts, seals, hydraulic lifters and camshafts. It also has a line of turbo components, which includes both the development of gaskets and the production of oil feed pipes for turbos. It also includes a line of chemical products with various sealants, engine lubricants and thread locker.

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

J.C.A & Á.G: IAM finds itself in a good moment, due to several factors: the uncertainty of what vehicle one should purchase, the penetration of the electric vehicle in the market is slower than intended in the beginning. All these make the final user take more time in buying a new vehicle and repair more the old one.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

J.C.A & Á.G: We expect the current situation in the market keeps the same positive trend for some more years.

E.E: What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

J.C.A & Á.G: AJUSA has several product lines with which we are market leaders, as for example the turbo charger components: fitting kits, oil feed and drain pipes. These products have had a great acceptance among our customers globally and have allowed us to keep developing the range.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2024?

J.C.A & Á.G: In the past years we have had a two-digit growth and expect 2024 to follow the same trend.
