Bau Bildung Sachsen is one of the leading training providers for the German construction industry with 4 intercompany training centers for initial training and further training. Bau Bildung Sachsen has been working on an international level since the 1990s.
Upgrading trainings are carried out according to the needs of the construction industry at the four locations. Their seminar program is constantly being developed and adapted to the conditions of the labor market.
In 2022 Bau Bildung Sachsen received a Special Award from the Innovation Award for Further Education 2022 by the Free State of Saxony for the project “e-Construction Academy ‒ a digitally networked place of learning for initial and further training in the construction industry”.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Phillipp Stephan: In the inter-company training centers, initial vocational training is offered in over 20 professions in the construction industry. For this purpose, Bau Bildung Sachsen has modern equipped training halls and accommodation facilities.
Each of our locations is characterized as a center of excellence:
- Bautzen: Wood center
- Dresden: Concrete center
- Glauchau: Construction Machinery center
- Leipzig: Infrastructure center

P.S: Bau Bildung Sachsen is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 for the promotion of vocational training for the domestic and foreign economy, in particular the construction industry, through the development and implementation of measures in:
- Vocational training preparation
- Vocational training
- Vocational retraining
- Continuing vocational training (adaptation and upgrading training)
- Further training for management personnel in the construction, industrial-technical and commercial occupational fields

P.S: Our international training projects have a focus on practical training particularly in:

P.S: Internationally there is a need in developing dual structures to educate skilled workers for the construction industry.

P.S: The construction industry worldwide must meet increasingly complex requirements. Energy-efficiency, technical innovations, sustainability, and interdisciplinary working processes are ongoing trends in this industry.
