In a recent collaboration, Calumino partnered with ams OSRAM to integrate the Mira050 CMOS image sensor into its next-generation thermal sensing platform. Calumino offers a disruptive thermal sensor plus edge analytics that generate data for our customers and partners to automate and optimize procedures and workflows in the built environment.
New customers typically start by ordering an Evaluation Kit (EVK) and a couple of CTS modules for prototyping. The EVK comes with a downloadable desktop player that allows evaluation of the hardware and software performance.
On top, we have also partnered with the world’s leading device manufacturers who are starting to reimagine what is possible with our new generation thermal sensing technology. They offer off-the-shelve products to the market, so if you are not ready with your own product as yet, why not leverage what they’ve build.

We are currently heavily focusing on the commercial real estate space where there is a need for privacy non-intrusive people sensing and counting to optimize energy efficiency of buildings.
The CTS plus on-edge AI is the ideal technology to integrate into plug & play products, lighting fixtures and HVAC as it is the only technology available that is privacy non-intrusive, smart, scalable and affordable.

Thermal sensor technology has been traditionally reserved for high-end budgets, such as military and high end security.

Most recently, one of our partners has launched a new innovative product with the Calumino technology embedded, and they have won the German Innovation Award ‘Gold’.

The outlook is very attractive. In the built environment, adoption is going very fast and new products are being launched by our partners continuously.
On top we are opening up new verticals and we foresee exponential growth while we make the CTS even more affordable, smaller, lower power and higher resolution.
