In a strategic move to ensure the safe delivery of this technically advanced and uniquely designed speaker, Treble Clef Audio collaborated with Clip-Lok SimPak, a packaging solutions provider committed to innovation and eco-friendly materials.

Ole Siig, the founder of Treble Clef Audio, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are glad to partner with Clip-Lok SimPak to elevate the packaging of our latest speaker. The collaboration not only enhances the protection of our product but also aligns with our commitment to sustainability and user satisfaction. It’s an exciting step forward for both our companies and our customers.”

Siig shared his journey, saying, “We were looking for a company that can not just pack our recent TCA-M Active Loudspeaker; we were looking for a creative, and of course, safe solution that can represent our loudspeaker from the packaging experience. I was recommended to work with Clip-Lok SimPak as a packaging supplier, and I am glad I was.”

After several iterations in discussions with the Clip-Lok team, the finalized packaging solution, the Clip-Lok box, was completed based on CAD models and graphics. Siig further explained, “From the first meeting to a Clip-Lok packaging solution that we can order as we go, was very efficient and took just a few weeks to test and complete ready for our customer orders.”

Lars Vikkelsø Pedersen, the national Manager at Clip-Lok SimPak, highlighted the challenge of designing packaging for the TCA-M Active Loudspeaker. “The design of the TCA-M is very unique, hence the packaging should be an equally customized solution as well. Moreover, while doing our packaging, we needed to consider the fact that this is packaging for high-end customers.”

Pedersen emphasized the careful consideration of the packaging dimensions, stating, “It is not just transporting packaging from a warehouse to a warehouse with big ramps, industrial lifters, and so on. We have also anticipated that the speaker may need to be relocated, and as such, we designed the box to be flat-packed and flat-stored, optimizing storage space.”

Siig then described his experience with the packaging solution provided by Clip-Lok SimPak, stating, “We have had great experiences with the ease of both packing, transporting, and then unpacking our loudspeakers, also for our own events, where efficient unpacking and subsequent packing all must take place within the same day.The design of the Clip-Lok solution, that so easily clips together and unpacks just using your hands, is a big bonus on top of the sturdy and secure construction custom designed to hold the speakers locked in place.”
