Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
DANCUTTER: When working on renovation of narrow pipes with multiple (vertical and horizontal) bends, our simple and flexible cutter solutions is a cost and time efficient alternative to digging up the pipes.
Trenchless sewer repair is an effective method of repairing sewer pipes without digging, by restoring the structure of the existing pipes internally using different lining materials for example felt tube made of polyester or fiberglass cloth.
CIPP (Cured-in-place pipe) is one of the most widely used trenchless rehabilitation methods, where a felt lining is inserted into a pre-existing pipe needing repair.
Resin within the liner is exposed to a curing element such as hot water, steam, or UV light to make it attach to the inner walls of the pipe.
Our powerful pneumatic cutters prepare old pipes for renovation by clearing blockages and debris, and when the pipe is newly renovated the cutter easily and efficiently opens access to branch pipelines.

DC SUPER FLEX is Dancutter’s extremely flexible cutter. It can move through several 90-degree bends in a 100 mm pipe and works effortlessly whether the pipe is straight or has bends.
The DC SUPER FLEX is ideal for reopening laterals or removing hard deposits like concrete from pipelines. When you are cutting, milling, and grinding in pipes from 75 – 150 mm / 3” – 6” in., DC SUPER FLEX is a powerful solution, no matter if the pipe is made of PVC, cement, concrete, cast iron or steel.
DC MAXI FLEX is Dancutter’s most powerful cutter. It has an extremely powerful motor which makes the cutter both fast and efficient. The DC MAXI FLEX is flexible and can go through several 45-degree bends in a 150 mm pipe and works effortlessly whether the pipe is straight or has bends.
The DC MAXI FLEX is ideal if you mostly work in larger pipes reopening laterals or removing hard deposits like concrete from pipelines. When you are cutting, milling and grinding in pipes from 100 – 300 mm / 4” – 12” in., DC MAXI FLEX is a powerful solution, no matter if the pipe is made of PVC, cement, concrete, cast iron or steel.
DC MINI BIKE is Dancutter’s smallest cutter. When you are cutting, grinding and milling inside narrow pipes (50-75 mm / 2” in.) or in cramped spaces that are difficult to access DC MINI BIKE is a powerful solution, no matter if the pipe is made of PVC, cement, concrete, cast iron or steel.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
DANCUTTER: The market where Dancutter is currently active is at a stage where we see an increase in renovation of pipes inside buildings – the downpipes. This is where our product the DC SUPER FLEX is especially useful because of its flexibility.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
DANCUTTER: We experience an increasing interest in renovating existing buildings including the pipes, instead of building new houses.
All over the world we see increasing demands on sewage conditions and water supply. This is caused by an increasing world population combined with aging water and sewage infrastructure, growth in frequency and severity of extreme rainfall and an increased risk of flooding.
It is Dancutter’s mission to successfully develop, produce and sell cutters and sewage equipment of a high quality thereby contributing to secure drainage and water supply across the world in a reliable, efficient, and sustainable way.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
DANCUTTER: When our product the DC SUPER FLEX came out it was ground-breaking within its field because no other products could go through a 90-degree bend in a 110 relined pipe and rotate 360 degrees continuously. These features along with the strength and reliability of the cutter still to this day makes it a popular choice in the industry.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2021?
DANCUTTER: We are hoping to be able to awaken interest for our products in several new markets including Romania. Currently we have no distributor in Romania, but we strongly hope to find a Romanian distributor of Dancutter products in 2021.
