DEEPVIEW – ADVANCED VISION SYSTEMS FOR MANUFACTURING

Deepview makes AI Cameras for deployment in factory environments for visual inspection.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

DEEPVIEW: Deepview Cameras are capable of classifying and inspecting parts similar to the capabilities of a human inspection worker – the camera is presented with a library of PASS and FAIL examples and trains a deep learning model to complete the inspection.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

DEEPVIEW: In Q1 2023 Deepview software update enabled 5X fewer training images for new application setup at 8X faster training speed. This decreased the average number of examples for new application setup from 200 to 40.

In Q2 2023 Deepview software update added capability to FTP images to customer datacenter, and improved the overall accuracy and reliability of our visual inspection software.

Software updates are available at no cost to all Deepview Cameras deployed in the field.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

DEEPVIEW: Deepview makes AI Cameras and AI Servers for factory inspection applications.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

DEEPVIEW: Machine Vision is a mature market developed over the last 40+ years. Within machine vision, the deep learning market is still maturing. With more advanced deep learning models, the capabilities of deep learning in machine vision are growing every day.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

DEEPVIEW: Deep Learning is being deployed across economic verticals, unlocking new capabilities that enable higher productivity – as more mundane tasks are automated, overall productivity and quality of life improves.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

DEEPVIEW: We appreciate products that improve quality of life. For Deepview, we’re seeking to automate visual inspection on highly repetitive tasks to free humans up for more interesting and fulfilling work.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?

DEEPVIEW: We feel deep learning models and computer hardware will continue to improve, with broad societal benefits.
