ENO ENERGY – CONVERTING WIND INTO ENERGY

Eno energy Group is a long term experienced technology company at the wind industry, started 1999 as a project development company which is running the business as usual. Already at a early stage of the companies life, the decision was taken in the early 2000s to develop and manufacture own WTG’s to support the own projects preferably.

This time eno energy has developed as a technology company in the wind business, which is able to support customers with services along the entire value stream.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

  1. Classically project development of entire wind farms, from the first site exploration up to the installation of turnkey wind farms.
  2. Development and manufacturing of own WTG’s (onshore) from 4 to more than 6 MW and rotor diameters up to more than 160m
  3. Operational management and servicing of wind farms cross Europe. Currently eno energy hold more than 400 MW wind farms under management and service.

E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?

In the late 2023 we’ve launched the installation of not less than three new prototypes of our WTG’s. So the eno140-4.2MW (top of the 4MW platform), a park of three eno152-5.6 MW (smallest WTG of the 6MW platform) has been installed yet and a park of three eno160-6.0MW is already in installation.

Beside the classic WTG’s business eno energy will install its first battery storage solution in the mid of 2024 and goes the first steps to more continuous wind energy production solutions.

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

Eno energy is mainly active at Germany, France and Sweden.

Especially the German market is asking for high quantities of WTG’s at the moment, a business which is mainly done by serial suppliers like Nordex or Vestas, but we’re happy to see the rising demands for premium WTG’s like from eno energy also.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

In parallel to the increasing size of WTG’s, we will see more storage solutions, wind-photovoltaic-combination projects and power to x solutions in the upcoming years. As a main driver for the availability and performance of wind farms we will see quite fast more and more AI supported maintenance strategies as prognostic maintenance and holistic structural healthiness monitoring systems

E.E: What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

High performance WTG’s, battery storage solutions in combination with the opportunities to get entire wind farms from eno energy as a one stop supplier.

E.E: What estimations do you have for the beginning of 2024?

2024 will become a really exiting year for the entire wind industry. In 2023 the wind energy was the most important energy production source with a share of 31% of the entire energy production in Germany. This will change the perception of the wind energy potential holistic and change a lot.
