With their eco-friendly absorbent Gazpack is able to remove Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) up to 0,1 ppmV, the absorbent has a small footprint and can be regenerated twice to extend the lifetime.

Interview with Patrick Vosse, Sales Manager at Gazpack BV.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Patrick Vosse: Our systems clean biogas by removing (H2S), CO2 and other impurities.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

P.V: We have recently introduced our absorbent Sulafer, which is an eco-friendly absorbent that removes H2S from basically any gas. And we introduced SILOXgo, an absorbent for siloxanes.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

P.V: Our systems are designed to handle capacities of 20 Nm3/hr and bigger.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

P.V: In the early stage, we feel that the market still needs to grow a lot and that regulations from the governments are necessary.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

P.V: Biogas is an upcoming market; we see a lot of new technology that tries to enter the market. Most technology aims at the removal of H2S and other impurities.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

P.V: Like mentioned in point 6, most innovations aim on the removal of H2S and to try to make that more eco-friendly. Most companies have their own gas cleaning solutions. Most are using the same technology, so it is difficult to say what the most innovative product is.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?

P.V: It is difficult to say what 2023 will bring for the biogas market. The European Union has made a new agreement with its members, whereby a part of the gas consumption must be replaced with biogas in 2030. That means that the upcoming years will be very important and busy for the market.
