INOWA with its host office in Austria was founded in 1992. Since then, they are in waste water business. With their filterless oil separation technology INOWA is able to clean oil polluted water from the oil without any filter material only due to gravity and a cleaning efficiency under 5 ppm. The company provides the system as a complete solution installed in a concrete tank for clients in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and also provide stainless steel solutions or only the ingridients for clients in export markets.
Since 5 years INOWA is very successful with their fully biological washing water recycling plants.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
INOWA: Our areas of activities are mainly in automotive business. From car repair shops to petrol stations up to car wash sites. But also, some infrastructure projects are interesting for us.
Actual we are at the Inter airport Europe – Our separators are used to clean water from the hangars or from the apron area. So, we have a wide range of business activities.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
INOWA: Our fully biological washing water recycling system sets new standards in car wash business. With the maintenance free fixed bed bio reactor you get crystal clear water without any odor.100% of the water will be cleaned in a sustainable and resource saving way and you are able to reach recycling rates up to 95%.
So, you save a lot of drinking water.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
INOWA: We offer 4 kind of products:
- Filter free oil separation technology;
- Oval basin technology;
- Fully biological recycling systems;
- Washing water filtration systems.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
INOWA: Not each car wash centre is equipped with any kind of recycling system. So, they are not sustainable and have the to live with the risk to be closed in case of water scarcity. Because of high building costs the market is a little bit quiet now but i think the business will restart during the next two years
E.E: What can you tell us about the market trends?
INOWA: In case of new investments, the trend absolutely goes to fully biological recycling systems. A little bit more of investment but a minimum of running costs during the life circle. These systems are built for many years so the costs for service and maintenance take part of the decision procedure.
Because of missing staff maintenance free systems are state of the art because they can ensure their function without any kind of care.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
INOWA: In 1992 the filter free oil separator was a very innovative product. We sold more than 10.000 separators around the world.
Now the fully biological washing water recycling system is our most innovative product. Resource saving and sustainable.
E.E: What estimations do you have for the rest of 2023?
INOWA: We are very satisfied with a successful and hope we could continue our way during the next years.
