Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Steve Aitken: We provide the Industrial App Store, and develop future associate products for it. one of the popular offerings is the Power BI connector for industrial data which makes it easy for clients to get their operational data into power bi for corporate analysis. We’re not just about selling products; we’re about shaping the future of industrial analytics.

E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?

S.A: We are working on a new product in the eXplainable AI space, a project supported by the Scottish government and in which we are partnering with the University of Aberdeen, and the European Marine Energy Centre to provide a trusted operational partner AI system which can be argued with and understood. Stay tuned for more on this exciting venture—it’s going to be a game-changer!

S.A: In our playground, Energy is like the cool kid going green. We’re here to help this transition with solid, real equipment data in hand. Also, we’re rubbing shoulders with chemical and manufacturing folks, optimizing their processes one breakthrough at a time and enabling secure fast data availability.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

S.A: Remember when cloud tech and AI were as mysterious as the Loch Ness Monster? Now they’re everywhere! Our crystal ball sees even more tech adoption down the road, a trend we’re happy to ride – AI has a lot more space for impact in future, and we are keen to find the right way to bring this to bear with our clients.
