INTERVIEW WITH APIX ANALYTICS

Energy and environment are major challenges for the next 30 years. The quality control of new energy sources (biomass, hydrogen), the emission control of gases and pollutants and their impact on the environment and health are at the heart of APIX ANALYTICS developments.

APIX ANALYTICS has designed and engineered a range of miniaturized instruments, able to analyze the composition of complex mixtures of gas and liquids, from the lighter gas hydrogen, to heavy crude oils, including volatile organic compounds (BTEX), at level from % to ppb.

The analysis is carried out on-site, on real-time, even in dangerous areas (explosive atmosphere), where they used to take samples and send them to the analytical lab, increasing the response time. Using APIX ANALYTICS solutions, clients can reduce and control on-time their emissions, optimize manufacturing process, be alerted in case of malfunctions or when exceeding critical threshold, while making substantial savings (CAPEX and OPEX)

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

APIX ANALYTICS: Oil&gas, Hydrogen, air quality monitoring.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

APIX ANALYTICS: New generation of analytical modules with T° ramping to replace isotherm modules. Enables faster analysis cycle with reduced number of modules for some applications.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

APIX ANALYTICS: On line analysis solutions with ATEX (Chromex ) and non ATEX (Chrompix2) units.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

APIX ANALYTICS: The market is mature for Oil&gas applications and air monitoring. For hydrogen it is growing fast

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

APIX ANALYTICS: With the international situation, biogas and renewables in general are pushed in the EU and other countries worldwide with large investment. A great opportunity for us as we have approved solution for custody transfer application.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

APIX ANALYTICS: Modules with T° ramping and Alphapix for VOCs analysis in air monitoring applications.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?

APIX ANALYTICS: Should be a good year despite the international situation (Covid and others).
