Bezares is a Spanish hydraulic equipment manufacturer, founded in 1954 in Madrid as a small workshop. The company evolved during all these years and currently produces a wide range of auxiliary hydraulic equipment for trucks and industrial vehicles with multiple factories and distribution in more than 80 countries.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
BEZARES: Auxiliary hydraulic equipment for trucks and industrial vehicles.
PTOs (Power Takeoff) is our core business, with a big catalog for all major trucks and industrial vehicles brands and models, such as Allison, ZF, Eaton, Scania, Mitsubishi, among others. Followed by our hydraulic pumps and motor line, using the latest gear, piston and vane tech and hydraulic valves.
Last but not least, we also produce recovery winches, power packs, complete hydraulic systems, hydraulic adapters and other hydraulic parts.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
BEZARES: We have just announced a complete PTO line for the Eaton Endurant XD and XD Pro gearbox line, also the MF4D Vane motor specific for agricultural vibration applications and we keep improving our latest twin flow FR2 piston pumps. E.E: What are the ranges of products?
BEZARES: Our main and bigger product range is PTOs, with specific products for each gearbox brand and model. As important as the PTOs would be our pump and motor family, divided into 3 different categories, the gear pumps, the highly efficient bent-axis piston pumps/motors and the low noise and low maintenance vane pumps.
Followed by our multiple hydraulic valves, including the industrial line using the CETOP standards.
Winches is another family with a lot of development efforts being put into, with a lightweight BULL line and the Heavy Duty Mammoth lines.
We also have an oil tanks range, power packs, gearboxes, adapters and other accessories.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
BEZARES: We are among the largest aftermarket manufacturers of PTOs (Power Takeoffs) globally and a world reference in high quality hydraulic pumps, equipment, parts and accessories, also market leaders in many European countries such Spain, Portugal, UK, Sweden among others with a wide network of distributors in over 80 countries.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
BEZARES: The market is giving an ever-increasing importance to climate-neutral solutions as well as the technological transformation of the entire sector, that’s why Bezares puts special effort on keeping our environmental certifications as well as ensuring to use energy from renewable sources at our main manufacturing plant in Casarrubios del Monte, Toledo. Bezares also put special attention at our digital platforms with a new e-learning center and adding more information available online daily.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
BEZARES: Right now is our new twin flow FR2 piston pumps and the gearboxes to convert 4×2 vehicles into 4×4.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
BEZARES: Estimations are good for now but with a short-term visibility. There are still consequences of COVID in Asia, particularly in China. And on the other hand, the war in Ukraine keep the on a high level of uncertainty. High prices as well as inflation are still present and lack of materials influences the markets.
