Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Bioethanol-Fireplace: We mainly sell bioethanol fireplaces.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
Bioethanol-Fireplace: We’ve got a new brand in town; the Danish brand Decoflame! Their fireplaces are manufactured in the North of Denmark and their design is rooted in Danish design and quality. They have a variety of great high-quality products, and we’ve just rebuild our showrooms to showcase their range of products.
We’ve also become the official Cocoon Fires distributor meaning we have the exclusive right to see Cocoon Fires in Scandinavia and the UK.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
Bioethanol-Fireplace: Our range of products are wide. We mainly specialize in selling bioethanol fireplaces. We have a wide variety of bioethanol fires – they come in freestanding models, wall mounted, celling mounted, and some of our most popular models are our own built-in bioethanol fires.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
Bioethanol-Fireplace: We are currently active on 13 different markets. The markets we are currently active on is Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, UK, France, The Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Finland, and Portugal. The UK is by far our biggest market. United Kingdom really loves bioethanol fireplaces and converting their existing fires.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
Bioethanol-Fireplace: We see a lot of different trends on out different markets. For example, in the UK, our customers love to build in bioethanol fireplaces, and they love the idea of a media wall. Essentially that’s a bioethanol fireplace at the bottom with a TV installed above. We see a different trend in Denmark, where our customers love to both build in fires in e.g., a room divider or they love Cocoon fires. In Norway we see a trend where the customers love Opti-Myst fires or electric fires.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
Bioethanol-Fireplace: The most innovative products marketed are the automatic bioethanol burners. Automatic bioethanol burners require, just like the manual burners, bioethanol fuel to function. However, this is the only real similarity between them.
Bio ethanol fires with automatic burners are much more technical. Depending on the selected model and manufacturer, you can control them with a remote control, via a control panel, an app, a home-system or Wi-Fi.
For the automatic burners, the bioethanol is filled into an external fuel tank. From there, it is pumped up into the burner for incineration when it is turned on. With manual burners, you just pour the bioethanol fuel directly into the burner opening.
The automatic burner is often seen in built-in bio ethanol fires and used for new constructions, bigger renovation, or interior design.
The benefit of an automatic burner is that it’s easy to control the flame. It’s much easier to extinguish and ignite the automatic burner. All that is required is to click on the remote control. The automatic burners also have a variety of safety sensors and essentially the economy of the burners are much better since they regulate how much fuel is needed when burning. Pretty innovative of you ask us.
