Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

BLUMAQ: In house development and production, with the highest quality guarantees in the production of an extensive range of aftermarket spare parts for the main construction and mining equipment brands in the market. Personalized service offered to each customer in our 19 branches around the world and our 12 branches in Spain. Guaranteed delivery service, 24 hours throughout Europe and 48 hours for the rest of the world and, above all, our wide stock with more than 100.000 items ready for immediate shipment.

In addition, one of the key factors that make Blumaq different from the rest of its competitors is the human factor, we are specialists in our industry and we try to reflect this passion for our work in every area of the company.

E.E: What’s the news for 2021 about new products?

BLUMAQ: Our Overhaul kits range, which include all the necessary spare parts for the engine repair of the main equipment brands in the market. In this way, we put together all the references that are going to be needed for the engine repair, saving time and money for our end customer. This has been a costly development, but we believe that the launch of these kits is a huge step forward for our customer. At Blumaq, we believe that leadership, development and innovation must always go hand in hand with quality, it is the only way to create a happy customer base which will become our brand ambassadors.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

BLUMAQ: One of the main product lines which we are launching, especially in Romania, is Berco undercarriage components. Together with the Italo-German brand, Blumaq offers the highest quality in undercarriage components, as well as the widest range of own brand filters, both, air and fuel, for the main equipment brands in the market. In addition, one of the product ranges with the highest demand are engine components, from our crankshafts forged in Spain under the strictest quality standards, to our cylinder heads, connecting rods and pistons, but especially the main range of products that we are promoting, are the Overhaul kits for a total or partial repair of the engines of the main machines in the market.

Without leaving aside, of course, the complete range of spare parts for transmission and brake systems.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

BLUMAQ: Currently, all markets are affected by the global pandemic, but especially the market that concerns us directly. The construction sector is particularly affected, given that we are in a continuous decrease in both, supply and demand and future projects are slowing down due to global uncertainty, we are at a difficult point for our sector.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

BLUMAQ: The trend in our sector is to offer a personalized service to our customers. For Blumaq, the key factor is an optimal shipment service and an efficient customer service. Being able to offer the part you need in a record time is a key point for our end customer. We are aware of the importance of our customers machines being down for the shortest possible time. In order to offer the best quality spare parts in a record time, we strengthen this service. Our experience tells us that the key trend is the delivery service, it is essential, as well as a stock matching the demand of the industry.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

BLUMAQ: At Blumaq, innovation does not only go through the new developments that we offer each year to our customers, but also through the development process carried out by our Technical Center by reverse engineering 3d scanners, where we develop our spare parts, pampering both, production and the kind of material used. For Blumaq it is a huge sales argument to have a Technical Center that provides guarantee and quality in the service and also in the manufacturing of all our products.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2021?

BLUMAQ: For 2021 Blumaq continues with its international expansion. In 2020 we opened Blumaq Central Asia, in Kazakhstan, and this year, we continue our expansion by opening Blumaq Namibia and Blumaq Indonesia branches. Strengthening our dominant position in the southern part of Africa and opening new markets in the Asian part. The expansion policy within Blumaq is clear and always involves being as close to our customers as possible, to offer the highest quality in the spare parts we sell. We manufacture most of the parts we sell and we know that quality is a key factor within our sector.
