The group Bois Du Dauphiné-Alpes Energie Bois (BDD-AEB) is a sawmill of resinous French wood. The company uses their sawdust and wood waste to produce pellets and electricity.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Bois Du Dauphiné:

  • Sawmill: Bois Du Dauphin : 200 000 cubic meters of logs – 100 000 cubic meters of edged wood (boards, rafters, beams, frames…)
  • Pellets: 60 000T per year
  • Cogeneration: 27 000 MWh per year

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

Bois Du Dauphiné: Wood: Planks, frames, rafters, battens, beams, treatment, drying…

Pellets: DIN+ and EN+A, 100% french resinous

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

Bois Du Dauphiné: We sell our products to our distributors in France, Italia, Netherland…

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

Bois Du Dauphiné: For the pellets, the demand is currently increasing due to the necessity to reduce the carbon emissions. In future, new factory will produce more pellets to answer to the needs of the consumers.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?

Bois Du Dauphiné: I think that the market will be a little bit in tension because the offer answer with difficulties to the demand. But I think the situation that we know in 2022 will not be the same.
