E.E: What’s the news for 2021 about new products?
C.S: Maxfeld continues to focus on expanding its know-how and market share in the production of assemblies. Maxfeld has invested a lot of time and capital in this area in recent years and has now also been able to achieve very pleasing increases in turnover. The stamping and bending technology is only part of the added value of these assemblies.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
C.S: The ranges go from simple bent parts in the household goods sector to sophisticated parts for the electronics and automotive sectors through to complex, fully automated assemblies.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
C.S: After the Corona-related declines in 2020, all of Maxfeld’s customer segments are in strong growth.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
C.S: The market grows and requests and expectations from our customers are getting more difficult. Anyway, this chance will set European high quality suppliers safe in the portfolios of purchasers and commodities of stamping parts.
E.E What are the most innovative products marketed?
C.S: Assembled parts and hybrid parts, like multi engineered plastic and stamping parts ready produced and coming out of one machine with up to 10 single and different assemblies: screws, plastic, rivets and stamping parts.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2021?
C.S: Strongly increasing incoming orders + raw material prices, bottlenecks in the purchase of raw materials.
