INTERVIEW WITH CAST

Cast srl deals with cast iron and steel castings for various industrial sectors. Mainly it is aimed at purchasing offices of medium-large companies to assist those responsible in the purchase of casting components, offering their know-how to customers for the optimization of mold and production costs.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

CAST: The company operates mainly in Italy, France and Spain but there are also excellent developments in Eastern Europe

E.E: What is the news on the new products?

CAST: The foundry is impregnated with an important technological change to offer the market more and more complex castings with a high surface grade.

All this leads to continuous investments and improvements both in the modeling and in the production processes with increasingly high-performance automatic machines

E.E: What are the product ranges?

CAST: In the past the company has dealt with many industrial sectors and we have developed an important know-how. For some years, however, we have decided to specialize only in some sectors that we can group as:

  • Vehicles. Earth moving machine, agrigol machine and parts for cars
  • Calorie. party for fireplaces, stoves and boilers
  • Hydraulics. Components for water transport, pumps and valves.
  • Energy saving: parts for photovoltaic systems and charging columns.

E.E: At what point is the market in which you are currently active?

CAST: At the moment there is a lot of excitement due to the transition process to industry 4.0 in many sectors such as agriculture and construction machinery, but also due to the strong investments in clean energy.

E.E: What can you tell us about the market trends?

CAST: The whole mechanics sector is experiencing a period of growth but the instability of raw materials and energy due to recent events will certainly cause a slowdown.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

CAST: We are developing very innovative and high performance parts for boilers and stoves on behalf of one of our important customers.

E.E: What are your estimates for 2022?

CAST: We plan to grow by 40% as we already did in 2021.
