ClearSpan: ClearSpan provides versatile building solutions that can be customized to meet just about structural requirement. ClearSpan works a lot with municipalities, athletic programs, industrial companies, waste and recycling facilities, warehousing and much more.
E.E: What’s the news for 2020 about new products?
ClearSpan: In 2019, ClearSpan completed construction of an I-Beam Manufacturing Facility within our Dyersville, IA Campus. With the ability to manufacture I-Beam Frames, we have unprecedented design flexibility to customize Designs to be clad in Fabric or Metal. In addition to expanding Structure Design Options, ClearSpan has created a line of Rental Structures for immediate shipment and installation. We understand some customers would prefer to Rent or Lease over purchasing, so we now offer that flexibility, in addition to Low-Interest Financing Programs.
E.E: What are the ranges of traded products?
ClearSpan: ClearSpan’s Range of offering is extensive, from Open-Air Canopies that create covered gathering spaces, to Commercial/Industrial Buildings with limitless Square-footage capability. All Designs can be Stamped-Engineered to comply with Local Building Codes, including areas with excessive wind & snow expectations.
Due to increasing demand for our Building Solutions, we have increased our installation capacity, allowing ClearSpan to be able to install over 25 Projects simultaneously throughout the USA.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
ClearSpan: To be sure, 2020 has been a unique year for ClearSpan’s Target Industries. Some such as Athletics and Event Planning have had to place Projects on hold or delay; while others such as Manufacturing, Logistics & Agriculture remain stable, with some experiencing modest growth. ClearSpan has also provided numerous Building Solutions for Emergency Response & Covid Testing.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
ClearSpan: Currently Industrial and Aggregate Storage, as well as Agriculture are the most active Markets. ClearSpan Building Solutions appeal to such a wide variety of Industries, our diversification helps us remain successful in challenging Economic Times.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
ClearSpan: Numerous innovations have followed ClearSpan’s I-beam Manufacturing: Armor-shield Vinyl Fabric offers an Industry-Leading 30-year warranty. For corrosive environments, ClearSpan has introduced a state-of-the art Epoxy Frame Coating, with even more corrosion protection than Hot-Dip Galvanizing. To reduce the cost of concrete foundation walls, ClearSpan is offering Pre-stressed concrete walls for Material Containment. We have already helped customers find 6-figure+ Project Savings with these containment walls. ClearSpan has also partnered with Modular Building Providers to help our Customers source Structures-within-structures for Office Space, Restrooms, Rec Rooms, and Mezzanines. For our Customers who need short-term solutions, ClearSpan has introduced a Structure Rental Program in 2020 as well.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2020?
ClearSpan: Despite the obvious external Economic Challenges 2020 has presented, ClearSpan’s Project Load is nearly equivalent to previous years. We have optimized Safety Protocols in our Manufacturing Facility to maintain consistent workflow and avoid disruptions. In multiple weeks during the Fall of 2020, ClearSpan Installation Teams will be erecting 20+ Structures throughout the USA.
