INTERVIEW WITH DANSK SOLENERGI APS

Danish solar energy has created the new evolution of solar roofs and facades which allows them to make solar colored modules. Danish solar energy start operation 1993, since this moment is one of the most innovations company in solar technology in Denmark and Europe. The factory has a 40 MW capacity and it’s the biggest solar capacity in Denmark.

High quality and innovation are their goal in many projects around the earth.

Interview with Martin Rivadeneira, CMO at Dansk Solenergi ApS.

Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company.

Martin Rivadeneira: Danish solar energy releases the world’s most efficient selection of colored solar modules. This ingenious technology is particularly interesting for the building industry, where solar energy can be integrated 100% into the building, so that roofs and facades in practice become energy-producing. By planning froBut the technology can also be used in many other sectors, such as the automotive industry, advertising, electronic devices, etc.

E.E: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

M.R: Solar roofs and facades in all colors, we offer standard solutions for architectural solutions, new buildings, renovation as well as custom design projects, keeping a very high efficiency up to 19% depending of the color. Our products 100% produced in Denmark are patented.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

M.R: Danish solar energy Ltd. has taken another step to becoming a technological leader in solar integration worldwide.

Our colored solar panels with very high efficiency use MAXEON CELLS.

Our technology includes a compound encapsulated on the surface of the cell.

Our Standard 24-cell tiles produce 70-75 Wp on a surface of 0.483 m2; 18.15% gray, and 16.7% terracotta

Currently, we can produce panels up to 1300mm*2700mm.

With this technology, you cannot see any traces of ribbon or metal connections on the surface of the panel, in full color with quality made in Denmark.

Our Technology is developed to give the highest possible efficiency with colored cells per square meter while preserving the appearance of the buildings.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

M.R: The applications of this product are many but you can highlight the following:

Our Main product are solar roof tiles and Solar facades for the buildings Industry:

  • Heritage buildings
  • New residential complexes
  • Architectural projects
  • Buildings
  • Churches
  • Building facades
  • Infraestructures
  • Buildings

Also, there are some more applications:

  • Electromobility
  • Streelights
  • Exterior wall lights
  • Signboards

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

M.R: BIPV is getting more relevant, in year 2023 it will be a market of 1,3 b Euros according to Frauenhofer Institut in Germany.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

M.R: SUSTAINABLE BUILDINGS

In the future, all houses will be energy producers, being able to cover its own energy consumption is now a high priority for many, with this new solar energy solution we replace roofs and facades with a beautiful power plant that generates electricity. In the future, this technology will be used where electricity is needed.

Our HEM solar modules are produced in unique and fully automated production lines. Our factory is designed and built to provide the flexibility to produce any type of bespoke module.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

M.R: Solar roof tiles and solar facades will be an active energy source, it will produce were the consumers are.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?

M.R: The second half of this year we reach full capacity, if the trending continues the production will be upscaled for the next year.
