DBR77 allows all production plants to carry out the technologically and financially effective digitalization of production and logistics processes. 

What does that mean exactly? Thanks to Platform workflow, entrepreneurs can reduce the project preparation schedule by as much as 50%, and the costs of robotization or automation implementation including entire plant expenditure reduced by 20%. 

These results can be simply delivered by the unique market organization in such a way that every inquiry from the production company regarding the concept of robotization can be answered by a wide group of representatives of various technologies and various suppliers. The Platform allows vendors to publish the concept, and then offers to the investor (i.e. the production company) for the purpose of comparability.

The 3D design studio allows both parties to introduce and discuss the technological aspects of the project in an easy and quick way. The 3D design studio allows vendors to present their products in conditions like their actual application. For example, they have created a dedicated Showroom for a Fanuc company where they can observe and analyze the use of their products in a specific production application. The company can compare the production process carried out by operators and robots.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company? 

Piotr Wiśniewski: The platform is based on three closely related areas. 

The first area is the Markepleace. 

A marketplace is simply any place where multiple vendors come together to offer different products to the other side of the transaction. It is up to the investor to decide which offer is best for him. This type of organisation ensures flexibility of choice. 

The main role of the DBR77 Robot Platform marketplace is to connect protentional customer, who posts an bid, which is called a Technology Challenge, to a wide range of integrators, who responds to that challenge with a Proposal Concept which is called a Technology Solution. 

The second is a Digital Twin. 

The DBR77 digital twin is a virtual duplicate of all aspects of the production environment, including people, machines, robots, transport, materials and finished products. The digital twin is designed to manage data and to visualize, simulate and optimize all industrial processes. 

The third and the final is an AI DBR77 algorithms. 

DBR77’s AI algorithms are a machine-learning method for supporting and guiding decision-making in production plants and logistics centers. 

This helps optimize operations and avoid human error and provides a wide range of data to support decision-making process. 

E.E: What’s the news about new products? 

P.W: Production needs tools that can handle with the new realities of products based on progressively software complexity. 

Digital Twin and AI algorithms follow these trends, offering unprecedented opportunities. 

The Digital Twin not only allows the visualization of in-process data from entire production plant, but also the visualization of processes for design purposes, for better understanding of workflow, as well as visualization of positions for training purposes, and all this without interfering with the existing product or process. 

Thanks to such abilities, production plants can, visualize the entire process of the plant, improve the quality and efficiency of their products, identify faults or downtime, diagnose and fix the problem.

P.W: Over the past few years, it has become clear what difficulties manufacturing organizations are dealing with. The shortage of workforce, constantly rising salary costs are just a drop in the ocean of all problems. Additional problems include the lack of appropriate technology, qualified staff, i.e. insufficient number of specialists in the field of robotization and the fear of investment, as well as problems with the profitability analysis of automaton, which results in fear before making a right choice of automation-robotization investments.
