Interview with M.Taha Kızılgül, Foreign Trade Executive at Denmak Makina.
Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company and its activities.
M.Taha Kızılgül: We, Denmak Construction Machinery Rubber and Spare Parts Industry LTD. STI. has experience in concrete spraying machines over 15 years.
We have always been moving step by step since the year that we started.
Our company, which started with machine repair and maintenance in the early years, developed its own machine models and started production in a short time with its innovative managers, expert personnel and experienced engineers. Now we have a production area of 2000 m2 in Istanbul-Turkey. In our machine park, there are sections such as injection machines, cnc cutting, turning, painting, molding room.
Our company carries out up-to-date researches in line with the needs of the sector in the manufacture of tunnels, mining machines and equipment.
Our main goal is to provide the most accurate solutions to our customers.
E.E: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
M.T.K: Our company operates in a dynamic market such as tunnel constructions, ground constructions, cement production areas, mines, railway, metro projects, water canal projects and the energy sector.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
M.T.K: Denmak Machinery opened a new production facility a few years ago.
With its professional staff, we started to produce segment gaskets, tunnel fasteners, dowels, wedges and all necessary materials.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
M.T.K: Our first production was concrete spraying machines. In years we started to produce dry or wet type concrete spraying machines, cement injection machines, mortar mixing machines and their spare parts such as steel discs, rubber plates, nozzles etc.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
M.T.K: Concrete spraying machines, injection machines and spare parts are among the things that we do the most work and that the market needs the most.
Since the day we were established in this field, we have reached a level that is known and sought after in our country by making continuous investments.
Our exports continue to grow by adding new names to our portfolio every year.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
M.T.K: The machinery sector is one of the most influential sectors on the productivity and efficiency of all other sectors. The needs of the market we are in are increasing every year. Machinery production in Turkey has been growing and developing over the years. With the experience gained, the production quality also increases in parallel with this development. The quality perception and brand value of Turkish production machines are increasing day by day in the domestic and foreign markets. As Denmak Makina, we see a very high chance of competition in both domestic and foreign markets thanks to our high quality parts, products, advanced engineering skills, pre-sales, sales and after-sales expectations, technical information and support. We aim to increase our market share, which we have grown significantly in the last 5 years, in the next 5 years.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
M.T.K: Our IPM-500 Dry/Wet Type Concrete Spraying Machine, this machine is produced for wet or dry concrete spraying with its durable structure. It is suitable for manual use. The working principle and rotor system of the ipm 500 are the same as the dry spraying machine. The ipm 500 is designed for spraying particularly difficult products in tunnels, mines, and training and ventilation areas. Ipm 500 electric drive and improved dosing pumps can be made.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?
M.T.K: Industrialization is gaining more influence day by day, thanks to technological developments, industrial sectors will experience developments in line with their visionary perspectives. In the next year, all companies that want to develop and stay in the market with the competitive environment created by technological developments will have to turn their direction to new technologies. With the increase of technical and qualified personnel in our country and the development of product quality understanding, I predict that exports in Turkey will increase even more.
