Founded in late 2005, Easy Lift has been producing and supplying aerial working platforms for the international market since 2006. Since then, our firm has grown rapidly in terms of production figures and product range. Easy Lift has extensive experience, gained within well-established manufacturers of cranes and aerial platforms: this experience goes hand in hand with constant research into the safest and most efficient solutions for their clients.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Easy Lift: We sell our products mainly through dealers. Our dealer network nowadays counts on almost 20 dealers around the world. Dealers sell to end users, mainly companies involved in tree care/gardening, electrical works, painting, building maintenance works, cleaning, tinsmith works, restoration works.

As Easy Lift we also sell to rental companies.

E.E: What’s the news for 2020 about new products?

Easy Lift: We are developing a new spider of medium size to be launched as a world premire at the Apex show in September (Maastricht, The Netherlands, 8-10 Sept 2020)

E.E: What are the ranges of traded products?

Easy Lift: Current product range includes 16 tracked aerial platforms, commonly known as spiders (12 on tracks and 4 on wheels), 7 truck-mounted platforms (including 1 on a pick-up) and 3 van-mounted platforms. Truck and van-mounted platforms can also sold in kit, with or without frame.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

Easy Lift: As said before, we sell worldwide. Our main markets are North America, where sales numbers grow year after year, and Europe, but in 2019 we also registered a good growth in Middle East countries and China.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

Easy Lift: Due to the spread of the Covid-19, it is difficult now to make predictions about the future and market trends. At present time, our factory is closed to comply with the measures taken by the Italian government to fight against the virus and we do not know when our factory opens again. Members of the sales and after-sales team have being working from home since weeks to assist customers and prospects and the spare parts department has never stopped to assure parts shipment to customers in need of them but reopening the factory to start production again is crucial to continue our growth as in recent past years.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

Easy Lift: Most recent models are environmentally friendly, equipped with new combustion engines and lithium batteries.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2020?

Easy Lift: As mentioned before, difficult to make predictions right now. We can roughly estimate a 10% loss in turnover due to Covid-19.

Recovery will be slow and probably not starting before summer.

Before the virus, we expected a 10% increase in turnover compared to last year.
