Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

EGE: EGE is a French brand PV modules manufacturer, which is our main character in the industry and by manufacturing, we can have a better control over the quality of our products. Manufacturer is also the way we commit to offering best quality PV modules to the market.

Development of distributors world widely is another main activity of EGE’s. So far, we have over 50 official distributors in more than 35 countries.  Latin America, Europe and Africa is our main markets.

EGE is also very active in the industry by attending fairs, seminars, online seminars in the current case.  We are always proactive to learn the newest information in solar industry and update to our clients.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

EGE: Technologies have been updated very quick in the past few years, first, 5BB technology had been updated to 9BB, with half-cut technology. During this trend, we brought HELIOS series to our clients, and this has been a big hit in many markets.

Around few months later, gallium doped technology come out along with 10BB cells, and we launched the ATLAS series adopted this new technology.  Our ATLAS series have been installed in many different projects so far.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

EGE: We have mainly two types of PV modules, first is smaller types which makes us able to accept customized orders from clients. 30W-170W poly, 30W to 190W mono. This range of PV modules are quite flexible to many scenes, for example, solar lights, solar car roofs…etc.

E.E: Then we have bigger panels as our main 3 series, EOS, HELIOS, and ATLAS.

EGE: For EOS, we have both mono and poly, using 5BB cell, arranging as 60cells panel or 72cells panel. EOS series have been well used in many industrial and agricultural projects and received plenty nice comments.

For HELIOS, we are using 9BB mono cells and half-cut technologies to producing 120cells and 144cells PV modules. This type started to be hot since launch and now we have installed over **mw only with 450w mono.

For the latest series ATLAS, we are using 10BB cells with half-cut technology.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

EGE: For EGE, our main goal is to send our top-quality PV modules to every possible corner of the world, and we have been devoting ourselves to this goal in the past 13 years. Now we can say our brand has become one of the top brands in several markets, for example, in Mexico, EGE ranks top10 among the PV module distribution market: In Caledonia, EGE shares **% of the whole PV module market.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

EGE: We all can see that transferring to alternative energy has been written to many countries policies and new rules. So, there is no doubt that solar industry still has great chance to develop and there is actually have big potential room for installation.

In other hand, this year, due to the highest price ever in history for sea freight, the price increase for raw materials, China’s power cut and power restrictions for Chinese factories…etc., all these elements are bringing many challenges to this industry as well. Like we all know, where challenge is, chance is.

We are always open to any challenges and have the belief that we can use it to explore more markets.
