Fugenial GmbH is an independent and medium-sized family business, founded in 2013 south of Munich. The managing directors are Janine and André Waldenburger. In the tranquil town of Sauerlach, André Waldenburger had his idea of developing the FUGINATOR into an innovative product in his living room at home. As a trained master in the building cleaning trade, the credo “dirt is matter in the wrong place” became the goal of designing a grout brush that makes gout cleaning child’s play for everyone.
The creative head of FUGINATOR, André Waldenburger, manages the internal research and development department and thus enables the company to expand the portfolio with foresight, to react quickly to trends and to constantly optimise the products. Together with production, innovations can be implemented quickly. A major role is played by the attention paid to German craftsmanship. The entire production takes place in Germany. From the material for the handle and bristles to the production, finishing and packaging, their seal is 100% Made in Germany.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
FUGINATOR: The general cleaning market has achieved a “new” focus in 2020 through COVID 19. In addition to cleaning, the topic of disinfection was and is of great importance. The sequence that hygienic cleaning must be carried out first and then the subsequent disinfection has achieved a new significance.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
FUGINATOR: The trend in household and commercial cleaning is very much towards recycling, organic and environmentally friendly. In detail, this means the use of biological cleaning agents without chemicals, the use of recycled material to produce the tools/containers – all in an environmentally friendly way with little or recycled packaging. This trend applies to the private as well as the commercial sector.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
FUGINATOR: The tool-free adapter systems, which means that the Fuginator can be attached to existing handles in the private and commercial sector and the time-consuming dispatch of the handles is no longer necessary.
