GEO-TRONIC’S: New for 2021 are the data collectors, Topcon, FC-6000 and Sokkia, SHC-6000 with more RAM and faster processing. E.E: What are the ranges of traded products?

GEO-TRONIC’S: The range of products we sell start from basic surveying supplies to optical levels, reflector-less total stations and robotic and GNSS positioning equipment. Topcon and Carlson software for the data controllers. We also supply basic construction equipment like rotating lasers and pipe lasers.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

GEO-TRONIC’S: The surveying, mapping and construction layout industries are growing rapidly to meet the demand of a worldwide infrastructure boom. Topcon and Sokkia are innovating products to create more productive solutions to meet that demand. The industry experienced steady growth during Covid-19 as many companies utilized the down time to renovate and make improvements to infrastructure.

GEO-TRONIC’S: In 2021, the market is growing at a steady rate and with the rising adoption of strategies by key players, the market is expected to rise over the projected horizon. The surveying technologies have a significant impact on growth and efficiency. Specifically, in the future with 9 axis IMU embedded in the GNSS systems. We have a solution that blends the latest robotic total stations and GNSS called hybrid positioning.

GEO-TRONIC’S: The most innovative product marketed is the Topcon Hiper HR, global positioning system with fenced antennas and 30 plus satellites, plus 9 axis IMU. This allows better positioning in heavy tree canopy and urban environments.
