Gittel is originally an IT hardware and service supplier. Since 2007 they started a second business with the development of their own mobile workstation. Since then, Gittel produces, improves, and sells those mobile workstations all over Europe.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

GITTEL: The main areas of the Gittel GmbH are on the one hand the development of IT landscapes and on the other hand the production and improvement of the GMS (Gittel Mobile Station). With those mobile workstations warehouses can be made way more time efficient since you do not need to walk to a local printer for every single paper. You have all you need all the time and everywhere.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

GITTEL: Since this year we have two new products. One is the GMS Basic, which is an entry-level product for the usage of a label printer. Furthermore, we have the GMS MAX which is a huge table made for packing a huge amount of goods.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

GITTEL: The products start at the very basic requirements of a label printer and a laptop for up to 8 hours and can go up to 24 hours of using a laser printer, label printer, industrial computer and a monitor.

GITTEL: The trend in the current market is that companies stop using lead batteries as they used to before. More and more companies are heading towards lithium batteries which are lighter and more durable than lead batteries even though the price is

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

GITTEL: With our GMS1600 we can offer more than 300Ah lithium capacity. This is what nobody else can offer right now. This is a lot of battery capacity combined with a comparable light weight.

E.E: What estimations do you have for the rest of 2022?

GITTEL: I think the market will keep growing and people will buy even more mobile workstation to improve their time efficiency with the GMS. Currently the automotive companies are coming more and more to improve the processes in their warehouses.
