SEFMAT: Speaking about Ripagreen® brand, specialized in thermal weed treatment, our Easy + kit is an innovative and flexible solutions for cities and landscaper. With the unique Ripagreen thermal lance, you will treat weed in seconds thanks to a powerful and strong flow of hot air.
The full Easy + kit includes a cart to carry gas bottle easily during your work and an ergonomic harness for a comfort work. The operator doesn’t need to carry the lance, everything is done thanks to the harness.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
SEFMAT: The Ripagreen® range is divided according to areas treated. The Mobility kit is in link with small areas like private garden when the Easy and Easy + kits are more associated with city center.
The Autonomy kit can work for cities and biological agriculture.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
SEFMAT: The market is well developed in Europe with strong regulations against chemical weed killer. The impacts on human health and environment are now well know and this kind of alternative solutions well used.
In North America, the market is growing slightly and the cities are more and more concerned about the impact of chemicals.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
SEFMAT: The Ripagreen® thermal lance integrates the cutting-edge technologies for thermal weed treatment.
The air flow is produced thanks to a venturi effect to create a short and rigid technical flame. Air is blown through it to create this blade of hot air.
A start and stop system allow a fast ignition of the lance when you need it, so no gas wasted. The mix of air and gas is also controlled to reduce gas consumption.
In term of safety, the regulator includes an automatic control of gas pressure to prevent overheating and stop the gas supply in case of hose cut.
Our main goals are safety and efficiency in the treatment of weeds, in respect with environment.

SEFMAT: The alternative solutions to chemicals for weed treatments are in strong evolution because we need now to protect earth and humans even for this application.
