INTERVIEW WITH HARDT HYPERLOOP

Hardt Hyperloop is a European hyperloop technology company. The company has delivered the European Hyperloop Center, a 420-meter long open hyperloop test center to test all essential hyperloop technologies, and will demonstrate its hyperloop vehicle technologies in this test center. Hardt is working with European regulators and other hyperloop companies to develop a pathway for the commercialization of hyperloop technology in Europe and beyond.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

The main areas of activity for Hardt Hyperloop is surrounding R&D for hyperloop technologies, realizing demo facilities and prototypes to physically proof hyperloop technologies, and work with organizations and governments to further the development and implementation of hyperloop systems.

E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?

Hardt Hyperloop recently announced the completion of the European Hyperloop Center test infrastructure. A 420-meter long open hyperloop test facility, that can demonstrate all essential hyperloop technologies.

E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?

The range of products and services offered by Hardt Hyperloop includes the design and engineering of hyperloop tracks, the production and delivery of hyperloop vehicles, and consultancy services for governments and private entities on hyperloop route integration.

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

The market appetite for hyperloop technology is increasing due to growing interest in sustainable and efficient mass transportation solutions, as well as tangible technological progress demonstrated by the hyperloop companies (among others with the European Hyperloop Center).

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

Market trends are a growing interest in sustainable and efficient mass transport solutions since the effects of climate change are becoming more and more obvious.

E.E: What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

Hardt Hyperloop has offered multiple hyperloop innovations. One is surrounding the lane-switch, where vehicles can switch lanes without any moving components in the infrastructure. Secondly, the hyperloop infrastructure proposed by Hardt is fully passive, to minimize infrastructure costs while maximizing scalability.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2024?

For 2024, Hardt Hyperloop anticipates its hyperloop vehicle tests in the European Hyperloop Center. Furthermore, it anticipates positive developments on the regulatory side for hyperloop, and an increase in governmental interest for the hyperloop system.
