IDENTYTEC is system integrator for mobile devices, electronic Kanban systems and automatic replenishment systems for the production line. The Headquarter is located in Germany (Hildesheim) and has two more locations in India and USA. With the products, they delete the manual ordering process by scanning in the production line and create much more transparency in the whole process. Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company? IDENTYTEC: Our customers are the whole automotive sector worldwide. E.E: What’s the news for 2020 about new products? IDENTYTEC: The latest product is the ADD®, our fully automatic replenishment system which eliminate the manual replenishment process in the production line. Further on, we developed a digital Heijunka board which automated the manual processes when you have a dynamic production line with different products in one line. When the product changes in the line, the Heijunka board sends the necessary information to all responsible persons and interfaces which are needed for this change. E.E: What are the ranges of traded products? IDENTYTEC: IDENTYTEC delivers hard and software and all additional processes out of one hand. E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active? IDENTYTEC: In the last years the market has grown a lot and lots customers asking for more automation and transparency. Regarding the replenishment system and the hidden processes, we are currently alone at the market. The future for these products is huge! E.E: What can you tell us about market trends? IDENTYTEC: All customers in the production area are looking more and more for automatic solutions. It is very important to invest more money for this to be much more saver and much more efficiency in the market to be strong enough against the competitor. E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed? IDENTYTEC: The most innovative products are the electronic Kanban system to delete the manual ordering process and the automatic replenishment system to delete the whole process for ordering and replenishing in the production area. E.E: What estimations do you have for 2020? IDENTYTEC: Regarding to the COVID-19 19 pandemic, it is very hard to see what’s going to happen in the final months of 2020. Our opinion regards the pandemic is the interest in more automation and should be much higher than before. Especially logistic processes can save a lot of money in the future and to make more transparency in the processes.
