Lochmann Cabine S.r.l. is a private company operating in the industrial and agricultural equipment market. It has been manufacturing tractor cabs since 1983.

Over the years it has focused its activity in quality and innovation to meet the needs of its numerous customers.

In addition to tractor cabs, it also produces certified cabins specifically designed for agricultural machinery, construction equipment, municipal vehicles and snow groomers, fully set up cabins or semi cabins.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Lochmann: As said, the main area of activity of Lochmann is the manufacture of cabs for OEM customers in various fields, spacing from agricultural applications (tractors, sprayers, etc.) to heavy industrial machines (excavators, dozers, etc.) and also to special vehicles like snow groomers or airport carriers.

A specific branch of the company is dedicated to the support of customers with aftermarket products, who need to replace or buy cabs for new or already operating tractors.

E.E: What’s the news for 2020 about new products?

Lochmann: Lochmann is constantly aiming to produce high quality and innovative solutions to offer the best product to its customers.

On the other side, the company always explores new fields of application in order to broaden its range of action and attract new potential customers.

E.E: What are the ranges of traded products?

Lochmann: The core business for Lochmann is the production of fully equipped cabs, even if we take care of our customers’ needs by offering them a wide range of tailor-made solutions, from the bare metallic frame to the plug-n-play cab.

We also produce standard cabins that are always available from our stock; it means the customer skips the design and industrialization phase and can choose among our offers.

We provide a full range of products to our customers and we consolidate the collaboration as partner with a careful after-sales service and the supply of spare parts for our products.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

Lochmann: The market in which Lochmann operates is competitive. Therefore, it is vital to differentiate from our competitors, by making the difference to customers, in term of products and services.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

Lochmann: As was said initially, Lochmann products cover a multitude of application fields, so it is difficult to speak of a single trend in the market.

Each sector follows different logics and undergoes inflections or expansions depending on world market trends, according to reference fields.

This complexity is challenging, but Lochmann has got there sources to adapt and follow the changing nature of requests from various sectors.

Lochmann: Lochmann has a complete and efficient research and development department, composed by several engineers who turns into reality the most innovative ideas. Furthermore, the prototyping department implements and tests the different solutions.

All this allows us to meet our customers’ needs and bring something new to the market, even where historically there are consolidated solutions adopted by most of the manufacturers.

Lochmann: Lochmann expects to continue its growth consolidated throughout the years, not only consolidating the partnership with its customers, but also acquiring new customers and market shares.
