Mentpack is established in 1996 as a very small start-up. A small workshop with 2 employees started to build very simple packaging machines. Over 25 years, Mentpack became a worldwide key player company in packaging machinery industry with over 2000 machines running all over the world. 65+ countries exported so far and over 90% of export rate of its production made Mentpack a demanding supplier.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Mentpack: Mainly four side sealed sachet packaging and stick pack machines with secondary packaging lines. We also have VFFS technologies up to 5kg packaging.
E.E: What’s the news for 2021 about new products?
Mentpack: We have developed many new projects in 2021, we have made a huge project for one our dry yeast customer in Turkey, a sachet machine with counting, stacking and as a secondary packaging into flow wrapping line. Other two projects are for pharma industry which needs more detailed documentation and detailed engineering tools. A sachet packaging and stick pack with cartoner machines.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
Mentpack: This is the key point of Mentpack eventually. Because we have machines that is suitable for any start-up level company and for a global company level. Entry level machines to customized high-end and high speed packaging machines and lines make us the highest range packaging machinery company in the world today.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
Mentpack: We have supplied our machines to 65+ countries so far. For the last 2 years, I can say that the US market and Australian market have been popular.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
Mentpack: Especially after normalization from pandemic worldwide, single use in other words portion pack becomes so popular and a must. So that our machines become highly demanded today.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
Mentpack: Definitely dry yeast sachet packaging with stacker unit & Flow wrapping line is the most innovative project in this year.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2021?
Mentpack: Absolutely we will need to expand our production plant. We have 1500sqm now and min 5000sqm needed in the next 2 years. We also have an establishment in Germany, so some part of the engineering and sales will be handled from Germany soon. We hope to succeed all of these plans in the next 5 years.
