The company has its department for the development of diagnostic equipment for car stations and service stations and the availability of its production facilities for car repair gives an excellent opportunity to check the developed samples of test benches and special tools directly in the working process.

MSG Equipment: Our company serially produces specialized equipment for the diagnostics and repair of vehicle units, special tools for disassembling units and teaches methods of diagnosing the technical condition of vehicle units and technologies for their repair.

E.E: What news about new products?
MSG Equipment: Following the trends of the automotive market, we are actively developing equipment for diagnosing electric vehicles. Now we offer three new models of equipment in this area:
• LOKI diagnostic scanner allows any service station to arrange the service for diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of the whole model range of Tesla vehicles.
• MS800 – Tester for diagnostics of batteries of hybrid cars and electric vehicles. The tester solves the actual problem of diagnostics of modules of high-voltage nickel-metal hydride (Ni-Mh) and lithium-ion (Li-Ion) traction batteries of hybrid cars and electric vehicles.
• MS112 test bench for diagnostics of electric compressors of automotive air conditioners. At the moment, it is the only test bench on the market able to test the electric compressor of the air conditioner of an electric vehicle or hybrid car.
E.E: What is the stage in the market you are currently working on?
MSG Equipment: Demand for the remanufacturing of units remains at a substantially high level. Key factors are the greatest increase in cars over 16 years old in the US and also the release of new cars in the Asia-Pacific region. Special attention should be paid to the market of electric vehicles, it is progressing by leaps and bounds and has a lot of positive trends, and new technologies that require high-precision equipment for repair and diagnosis.
E.E: What can you say about market trends?
MSG Equipment: Recovery trends in automotive units are strongly influenced by changes in technology and consumer behavior, as in other sectors of the automotive market. However, some common trends that can be observed at the moment include an increase in demand for battery recovery of electric vehicles and hybrids and a growing interest in clean technologies. It can also be noted that in the field of automobile recovery, there is strong competition between companies, and there is a constant expansion of the range of services, such as the repair and recovery of steering racks, shock absorbers, starters, and alternators. In addition, some companies are beginning to work with car manufacturers to create original car parts and components, which is also an important trend.
E.E: What are the most innovative products on the market?
MSG Equipment: Starters and alternators equipment line include test benches MS005 and MS008. They have an automatic diagnostic mode and display the output voltage and current of the alternator in the form of an oscillogram, the results of the automatic check can be saved, as well as special diagnostic cables for quick connection to alternators.
Electric power steering equipment line include MS561 tester. MS561 tester allows the diagnosis of units of almost 4000 models of cars.
The air conditioning equipment line includes the MS111 test bench for mechanically driven diagnostics of vehicle air conditioner compressors and the MS112 test bench for diagnostics of electric compressors for hybrid cars and electric vehicles.
Diagnosis and repair of electric and hybrid cars equipment line include:
•LOKI – a diagnostic scanner that implements all necessary service functionality for the repair and maintenance of Tesla;
•MS800 – The tester that can determine the capacity of modules of high-voltage nickel-metal hydride (Ni-Mh) and lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries of hybrid cars and electric vehicles, which allows us to evaluate their condition.
E.E: What estimates do you have for 2023?
MSG Equipment: It is difficult to give an objective assessment. However, it can be noted the automotive remanufacturing market expects to be stable even with the growth in some segments, such as the remanufacturing of components for electric vehicles and the use of environmentally friendly technologies.
