Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company and its activities.

Stéphanie Garaud: We are located in the South of Spain between Cordoba and Granada. Our company likely offers a range of products such as bathroom wall hung and floor units, basins, mirrors, and other accessories tailored for bathrooms.

Overall, Muebles de Baño Ordoñez likely focuses on offering high-quality, stylish, and practical solutions for enhancing bathroom spaces, aiming to meet the needs and expectations of our customers.

E.E: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

S.G: Our activity includes:

  • Design: Creating aesthetically pleasing and functional designs for bathroom furniture that cater to various tastes and preferences.
  • Manufacturing: Utilizing quality materials and skilled craftsmanship to produce our furniture pieces, ensuring durability and longevity.
  • Distribution: Selling our products through various channels such as retail stores, important groups as private label, and possibly through partnerships with interior designers or construction companies.
  • Customer Service: Providing support to customers before, during, and after the purchase process, including assistance with product selection, installation guidance, and addressing any issues or concerns.

E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?

S.G: On the occasion of our participation at the ISH Fair in Frankfurt in 2023, we launched a new range of Laundry solutions (NEXO). It is a complete project, with a large choice of products so that you can create a personalized laundry room according to your individual needs.

We have also launched 3 new series which combine technical prowess and aesthetic innovation. The RAYAS series is composed of PVC or lacquered geometric fluted drawer fronts that make the design very original. The VINY series is, for its part, made of Melamine with 45-degree drawer front edges which come to be completely inserted into the carcass of the furniture also at 45 degrees.

E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?

S.G: We propose a large range of products from basic to high quality series.

Basic Range: Entry-level or budget-friendly bathroom furniture options designed for cost-conscious consumers.

Mid-range: A selection of bathroom furniture with a balance of quality, style, and affordability, appealing to a broader segment of customers.

Premium Range: High-end bathroom furniture featuring premium materials, innovative designs, and enhanced features for customers seeking upscale options.

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

S.G: The market of bathroom furniture is highly competitive, with numerous manufacturers and brands competing for market share. This competition is driving innovation, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts as companies sought to differentiate themselves and capture consumer attention.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

S.G: We can stand out 3 different trends in the last years:

Smart Technology Integration: Smart features in bathrooms, such as smart toilets, sensor-activated faucets, and LED lighting, were gaining popularity. These technologies offer convenience, energy efficiency, and hygiene benefits.

Muebles de Baño Ordoñez offers a large range of Leds mirrors (included Bluetooth and radio) and lamps.

Sustainability: Increasing consumer awareness about environmental issues was driving demand for eco-friendly bathroom products. Companies were focusing on using sustainable materials, reducing water consumption with efficient fixtures, and offering recycling or upcycling options. That’s why we are PEFC certified (global umbrella organisation for the assessment of and mutual recognition of national forest certification schemes) and we are working on the DAP (Product Environment Declaration).

Customization and Personalization: Consumers were seeking customizable solutions to meet their specific design preferences and space requirements. Modular bathroom furniture, customizable finishes, and bespoke design services were becoming more prevalent. This way, we decided to let the end-customer choose the colour of the handles in several series (chrome, black or white) and we have developed series with modular combinations (you can choose a combination of furniture until 2.10m with a Mineral Plus basins that can be manufactured for these exceptional dimensions).

E.E: What estimations do you have for the beginning of 2024?

S.G: The Bathroom sector has had a bumpy ride in 2023. The Covid hangover has taken its toll on many companies, which have seen their income decrease. But after a complicated year, 2024 presents great opportunities that can boost sells.

Innovations in smart technology, sustainable materials, and manufacturing processes are expected to drive product development and consumer demand for more advanced and eco-friendly bathroom solutions.

The shift towards online shopping is likely to continue, with more consumers purchasing bathroom products through e-commerce channels. This trend will influence marketing strategies and distribution channels in the sector.

The focus on health and wellness is expected to influence bathroom design trends, with consumers seeking features that promote relaxation, hygiene, and well-being, such as spa-like showers and touchless fixtures.
