Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company and its activities.

PLASVIDAVI: Plasvidavi Inyeccion S.L. is a second-generation family business, located in the southern part of the province of Valencia (Spain), with 30 years of experience in plastic injection. Starting as producers of agricultural supplies, the predominant sector in the region, we adapted to the needs of the market by first creating a line of products for the home and later a line for hardware and construction professionals, where we are currently considered the first manufacturer national in many of our references.

E.E: What are the main areas of activity of the company? What are the ranges of traded products?

PLASVIDAVI: Since the arrival of the second generation of the Domenech Aparicio family, every effort was made to update the company, laying the foundations that would guarantee adaptation to the new market demands.

Once the change in management occurred, the professionalization of human assets was prioritized at all levels, from management to production, through the commercial network, administration and logistics.

To improve efficiency and productive effectiveness, new facilities were built and extensive renovations were carried out in existing ones. Today, with more than 7000m in our robotic production plant and two logistics centres with space for 17,640m of storage, we serve our national and international clients. Apart from Spain, where our position is very strong, we export to European countries such as: Poland, Romania, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Bulgaria and we are also present in Georgia, Russia and on the African continent, for example in Morocco.

In recent times the homogenization of product families in terms of design, colour and labelling is being carried out, especially oriented to the needs of large distribution.

This sector, especially the construction sector, did not suffer from the COVID19 crisis as much. It is true that we felt a drop in production in the second quarter of this year, while in the third quarter production returned to normal. We hope to close the end of the year with very positive numbers. In addition, one of our main goals is growth in the foreign market, so our export department is constantly looking for new customers. We are currently negotiating with clients in England, Hungary and the Balkan countries and we hope close 2020 with sales in that countries.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

PLASVIDAVI: The market in which Plasvidavi is situated is a very traditional market, but we still try to follow the market trends, for example we often try to introduce a new colour to the range of our main products, which are flexi tubes or some time ago, our catalog included garden furniture, this year we decided to introduce a new model that will correspond to the current trends.

Our company’s goal is to keep the natural environment clean and to make life easier for consumers. We conduct a very professional recycling of plastics, thanks to which we have long been appreciated in this industry. In the course of our activity, we have established many new business contacts, but we are also constantly looking for new partners ready for professional cooperation.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2020?

PLASVIDAVI: Considering the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Plasvidavi decided to enrich its production with sanitary products, such as protective screen, Hygienic mask with approved filters, disinfectant mat, etc. And it is these products that we focused primarily on in this difficult year 2020. Our offer also includes helping others in the area of ​​our activity, and whenever we have such an opportunity, we are happy to share our expertise.

We also decided to help local offices and schools by donating our sanitary products.

COVID 19 forced most of the company to innovate, which in the second half of 2020 turned out to be online sales. Many companies have transferred their business to the virtual level, working with MARKETPLACES. Therefore, in 2021, we will start cooperation with several portals that deal with online B2B sales.

Among the differential services we offer, perhaps the most powerful is the adaptation of products to customer needs. From the simplest thing that would be to customize the labelling or the colours, to the complexity of developing a new exclusive product for the brand (Product design, molds, certifications, etc.). Today we continue to improve our facilities.
