Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
PS: With a brand-new building the whole production and development is based in Austria since the year 2012. We produce options from RFID to Bluetooth to simple electromechanical locks.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?
PS: Cloud based and keyless go requests are coming more and more and so, with our latest development, the lock knows where you are and opens the drawer / door as soon as you are close to it. With the UWB technology, we can measure the distance between a lock and a mobile phone very precise.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
PS: Our product range includes options from electronic cabinet locks for cupboards, sliding furniture doors, Padlocks or locks for hidden panels with RFID-, Bluetooth-technology to simple electro-mechanical locks.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
PS: The market for modern security applications for retail stores, hospitals, offices and gym lockers is constantly growing.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
PS: We notice that the trend is going towards keyless solutions.
The usage of our App “PSLocks” allows the customers to use their phone for accessing.
We also provide an open-source solution for integrating our locks into customer apps or firmware, the interface (API) to PS locks is open and available for everyone. With the API, you can control all types of PS locks directly via Bluetooth.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
PS: Our new UWB technology will be the first of it´s kind once we have finished the development.
Until then the Bluetooth locks are the most innovative of furniture locks.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
PS: Our estimation is that the Padlocks for self-storage and Bluetooth based locks will be increasing.
