RIGK: RIGK offers recovery and recycling solutions for plastic and plastic packaging in the field of agriculture and industry as a service provider. The collected material is processed in high quality recyclates, which are able to substitute virgin material in new products saving in this way resources.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
RIGK: In agriculture there are good activities to help farmers to get rid of their plastic packaging after using the product e.g. empty pesticide containers and other waste they may have on farms like old oil, Fertilizer Big Bags, Agriculture film.
At industry level we see a lot of space to doing better to gain more controlled and collected specific waste streams.

RIGK: Trends: Implementation of policy and legislative options to extend the recycling and management of plastic waste in Europe. Collecting and recycling of waste streams are the main driver of the circular economy and avoiding of landfill.
So, the trend is to gain more and more feasible waste streams. At the same time, RIGK supports the eco design of all products. This saves resources and assure recyclability.

RIGK: Innovation in waste streams meaning specific collection is to create good regrinds and recyclates knowing its source to provide the converter at the end a recycling material which allows him to use it like virgin material.

RIGK: Objective 2022 – Increase of total quantity of collected waste and improvement of the „material recycling” and expansion of new waste streams on the Romanian market.
