S AND C Co., Ltd. have been a successful strategic partner with Doosan since 2000. Their well-developed and widely known technical know-how attracted OEM product contract with one of the Japanese leading companies for construction machine attachments in 2010. Its OEM experience opened new prospects for the company’s own brand attachment.

BULLSTERN is S AND C’s brand of excavator attachments designed and manufactured. Its popularity against the competition is mainly due to its better build quality and features, better serviceability and ease of operation as well as better productivity and uptime. The units are exported globally.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

S AND C: Mainly, many developing countries located in Southeast Asia but recently we have expanded our market in North and South America.

E.E: What’s the news for 2020 about new products?

S AND C: PULVERIZER which is the ideal tools for demolition waste recycling, concrete crushing or the separation of rebars encountered within the concrete in the secondary reduction stage.

E.E: What are the ranges of traded products?

S AND C: Basically, the application of the current products line-up is focused on the excavators between 20ton and 50ton class.

  • VIBRO RIPPER from 20 to 65 ton;
  • VIBRO HAMMER from 18 to 45 ton;
  • PULVERIZER and SHEARS from 20 to 40 ton;
  • HYUDRAULIC BREAKER from 0.8 to 50 ton;
  • PLATE COMPACTOR from 2 to 35 ton;
  • STATIC RIPPER from 10 to 47 ton;
  • MINI MULTI PROCESSOR from 2.5 to 8 ton.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

S AND C: It is at the beginning of growth stage. Before the pandemic, we expected to accomplish CAGR of 5% during 2020-2023

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

S AND C: The noise complaints are accounting for 34% in the entire environment complaints in Korea and 62% among them is related to construction sites. As a result, the needs for the construction equipment with the low noise level are getting increased.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

S AND C: 1. VIBRO RIPPER

It is normally applied in areas, where drilling and blasting with explosives is not permitted for safety and environmental reasons or simply more expensive. Also, suitable for demolition, mining, etc. It exceeds the hydraulic breaker production in 80% of job application.
