This large innovative experience has allowed the company to adapt its solutions to current security and business needs.

Likewise, we are consulting experts. From the definition and development of the project to the execution, start-up and maintenance, we have a team of professionals that support each of the phases.

We are a company focused on constant evolution. This evolution allowed us to develop an own platform from which customers can manage their devices from a single VMS platform.

The incorporation of the latest in Artificial Intelligence and our Big Data tools allow our clients to take advantage of their CCTV systems to the fullest. In this way, SCATI supports its customers in every phase of the projects.

With headquarters in Spain, we have subsidiaries in Mexico and Brazil, where there is a technical-commercial team to serve our customers locally. In addition, SCATI is in more than 20 countries thanks to the support of its network of Certified Partners. Through them, SCATI offer the same level of commitment.

  • Utilities
  • Industry
  • Critical infrastructures
  • Public safety
  • Retail

Regarding our products:

We think that AI and Big Data are essential to face the digital transformation. The application of these technologies in video systems makes them key tools for business monitoring. This issue has encouraged SCATI to offer its customers END – TO – END solutions. In other words, complete intelligence video solutions that add value and provide much more security to installations. These solutions are:

  • Comprehensive and centralized management of different locations – This allows SCATI’s customers to visualize the status of the entire system, facilitate investigations, and the collection of relevant information from a single location at any time.
  • Cybersecurity and information protection – the company’s systems pursue the highest levels of cybersecurity, as well as superior performance to protect against unavailability.
  • Integration with existing systems – that allows to manage all the systems from a unique VMS platform.
  • Evolution without hide costs
  • More that security – all departments of the companies of our clients can take advantage of the information given by our systems. This is the commercial intelligence. In this way, our clients can increase their profits.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

M.A.G.M: The innovations that we have been including during 2021 and those we plan to include in 2022 are oriented towards the incorporation of new functionalities for users to complement existing ones, maintain and improving the reliability of the platform, ensuring the cybersecurity of the entire solution, to protect it against external threats, and to deepen our unique customizations for certain verticals, such as Banking and Industry 4.0.

This trilogy has guided the work developed in our developments in the video systems and VMS that we will launch in this first quarter of the year. Both suits, together with the latest version of SCATI RECKON, our business Intelligence tool, provide users a lot of news and functionalities, giving special importance to these ones that are related to IA, Big Data and Business Intelligence.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

M.A.G.M:

  • Video Management Systems (VMS)
  • Facial recognition
  • Capacity control solutions
  • Row management
  • Thermographic solutions
  • Heat map solutions
  • Asset’s tracking
  • ATM / POS transaction tracing solutions
  • License Plate Recognition (LPR)

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

M.A.G.M: Nowadays we usually target mature markets where end customers see technology as an investment to face digital transformation. They usually want new developments, and they know they this type of investment will be returned in the form of benefits applicable to different areas of their business. They can take an advantage of our systems using the information they produce in other departments like Human Recourses Department or Marketing Department.

In the same way, the markets we are targeting tend to be advanced regarding technology. Final client usually looks for the latest developments in technology in order to gradually improve the quality of their business.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

M.A.G.M: Industry professionals have been able to check for themselves how the technological advances are getting faster and faster. The life cycle of a new product or technology, the introduction and growth phases lasted several years, reaching maturity after a minimum of 3-4 years in the previous phases. Nowadays, these initial phases (introduction and growth) have been greatly shortened, in some cases by less that a year, so that technological advance goes into decline in a period similar to that previously needed to reach maturity.

In our opinion, 2022 will mean a consolidation for the use of video analytics or AI (Artificial Intelligence) „on-the-edge” for generate data. Thanks to Big Data Tool, those metadata can be transformed in valuable information, for every company’s department. In this way, with technology we can help and bost other areas of the company with the aim of creating more detailed dashboards for betther business decisions.

On the other hand, and thanks to increased data transmission speeds in public/private networks and to the emergence of mass storage solutions, whether in our own data centers or contracted form could storage companies, we are going to see a proliferation od „aaS” (as a service). Let’s not just think about information storage, but also about the exploitation of that information or AI solutions in which, instead of purchasing a licence, you pay for the number of times you use it.

Last but not least, as neural networks take off, we will see how the IoT may being to be incorporated into electronic security systems, especially in those systems where sensoriation plays a key rol.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

M.A.G.M: We are working on further improving our different solutions. Nowadays, we have three main differential solutions: RECKON, PARCEL and PARCEL +.

SCATI RECKON, this is a powerful tool able to analyze a large amount of information, apparently unconnected, to show it in correlated, simplified and organized way, with the aim of favoring decision making at business levels. This system incorporates data from cameras and intelligence devices: facial recognition, people counting, queue management, heat maps or even the recognition and traceability of any object identified by number plates, issue number, etc. to convert them into valuable information that facilitates making-decision in any department of the company.

On the other hand, SCATI PARCEL is able to trace assets, goods, etc.  through video systems. With these systems, we can identify the origin and the different stages through which a good pass within a logistics chain. This is a fundamental value for companies, as critical points can be identified, thus minimizing incidents and increasing productivity.

Moreover SCATI PARCEL +. This is a state-of-the-art indoor geolocation system that tracks assets that are in continuous movement (mechanical bulls, pallets, operators, goods, etc.). Thanks to the use of UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) tags and a mesh of antennas located throughout the installation, to which a camera is associated to monitor what is happening in that quadrant, it is possible to have continuous visual control of the different assets that your organization considers valuable or critical, and to receive automatic alerts in case they invade a restricted or dangerous area.

The functionalities and benefits of SCATI PARCEL+ represent a major revolution in personnel supervision, operational business management, process optimization and procedural improvement, and therefore maximize business profitability.

With all these tools and, as I said above, we continuously support organizations to improve their competitiveness by providing the necessary information for decision-making.

More and more businesses are realising the need to invest in data analytics solutions for one simple reason: information is power.

Our video management systems protect what matter most our customer but are also they equipped with big data tools that allow information to be used by other areas of the business to optimise procedures, improve customer knowledge, train employees or increase business value.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?

M.A.G.M: We see 2022 as a challenging year, we would like to consolidate our growth in the European and LATAM markets, and to expand into new markets. Regarding Europe and LATAM, we want to continue having the support of our partners, and betting on an expansion to new markets such as the USA and Southeast Asia as our main objectives.

To sum up, we want to continue being the reference company in video surveillance, which allows end users and integrators to be at the forefront in the use of technology.
