Tesar is a company that was founded in 1979 as a manufacturer of cast resin transformers for all application, both Power Transformers and Instrument Transformers.
Applications ranging from simple transformers for powering production plants, to multi-winding transformers for renewable energy (solar, wind, etc.), for electric vehicle charging stations as well as special industrial applications (Converters, rectifiers, etc.).
Tesar products are designed and built using the best materials available on the market, with very low losses and therefore with high yields that contribute to the reduction of electricity consumption and the reduction of CO2 emissions, “Environment Friendly”.
Tesar technicians are active members of the European and International Technical Committees for the study, publication and updating of the Technical Standards necessary for the construction and testing of transformers. Our workshops are equipped with the best and most up to date machinery for the construction of products whose Quality and Reliability is recognized all over the world. Tesar operates with an ISO 9001 certified quality system, respects the ISO 14001 environment, and carries out all activities in ISO 45001 safety.
By now, more than 100,000 Tesar transformers are installed in five continents, from the Americas to Asia, from Africa to Oceania and of course in Europe. The first steps were taken in the Italian market, and then entered the European Community where, as early as 1988, Tesar made the first supplies for CERN.
It was in 1993 that a fundamental stage was reached in the growth of the company, which for the first time supplied the markets of the Middle East.
During all these 40 years of activity, Tesar studies the processes of incorporation, the fire behavior of a transformer in service, essential everywhere but especially when the machinery is installed inside buildings.

TESAR: Power Transformers: Power from 50 to 25000 kVA, insulation up to 52kV
Instrument transformers: VT up to 36kV CT up to 2500A and ring CT up to 30000A
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
TESAR: In general, the transformer market is mature, but in this moment, there are not yet an economical solution to change our product. Then, if we analyze the market segments there are a lot of different stage segment by segment.
TESAR: Market trend is growing up.

TESAR: As I wrote above the transformer market is mature, the only innovations are in the service and customer support.
