Thomsen’s, Inc. is the company Chris Thomsen created to help him make escalators cleaner, safer, more efficient, and more economical to operate. The company’s mission is to provide the public with beautifully simple systems that deliver safer, healthier, and cost-effective conveyance. They provide employees a safe and enjoyable place to work, grow and thrive.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

THOMSEN: We strive covering all of the surfaces in terms of disinfecting with a new state of the art Nano Technology Polymer water base chemical branded as My Shield.  We also as our core business specialize in cleaning, rejuvenating and disinfecting escalator handrails lead by our CTO Mr. Chris Thomsen also our co-Founder.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

THOMSEN: It is not new it is revolutionary due to its novelty indeed.  Nano Technology has not been widely used yet in the cleaning industry let alone cleaning escalator.  The complete solution or the Thomsen Way! is the definition of NEW.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

THOMSEN: The range of products are everything covering the cleaning and rejuvenating of any escalator handrails brand and a complete list of key B2C and B2B disinfecting products branded as My Shield.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

THOMSEN: I am not sure understanding this question, but if I do correctly, we have already been contracted by 19 airports in the US, which you may find its list from our website.  We are in the process of generating a new study which would allow us covering the gaming world starting in Las Vegas along with its hotels and 490,000 beds which require to be changed almost daily.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

THOMSEN: The market trend is going in our favor as most companies regardless in which industry are all far more conscious of keeping a clean, safe and healthy environment.  Though, there are many of these same companies which are cutting corners towards saving money…of course; yet using their clean action plan an important marketing tool to reassure their customers.
