At the service of the customer with efficiency and quality, Tramev has been proposing itself since 1977 in the wire and derivatives producers market. Among some of them:
– TRAMEV PORTABLE TOOLS for cutting, straightening and bending of metal wire, allowing a fast and effective solution to the problems related to wire, cable, strand, bolts and nuts.
– MACHINE BUILDING: mechanical workshop equipped for the construction of machines and accessories, such as: unwinders and tilters, drawing lines with throwing monoblock, packing and reels for wire rod and drawn wire. Head welding machines, wire pulling pliers, internal gripping pliers for the management of coils and hanks.
Interview with Cristian Saraceno, Sales Manager at Tramev.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Cristian Saraceno: We sold machines in more than 50 countries thanks to our sales network with over 20 agents and resellers. Our main areas of activity remain Europe although we work very well in USA, South America and we are developing market in India but more generally Far east
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
C.S: In 2021 we developed a new battery straightener up to 32 mm suitable for drawing mill, fasteners makers etc… to meet the need to straighten wire with a larger diameter (32mm). We also developed 2 models of pointing machines up to 16 mm and up to 35 mm. To conclude we made an agreement with Sjogren Industries (USA) to sell wire pullers. I also like to remember our historic cooperation with PWT (NZ) for the sale in Europe of the machine to regenerate stearate.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
C.S: If we speak of accessories for production of wire or derivates we have for sure the largest range of products. We start from cutting tools straighten tools or welding machines up to complete machine like unwinder or compacting machines.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
C.S: It’s not so easy introduce news in this kind of market. Every year with our technical department we try to find new solutions in order to meet the needs of our customers. We are working in a very competitive market with a lot of competitors and this always pushes us to find innovations to permit to our customers to recover time during the production.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
C.S: The steel sector will most likely undergo major changes in the coming years to meet new technologies. We are working to be ready for these changes
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
C.S: Surely all battery tools, they are very convenient for operators and can be moved to different workstations. But I must say that even the “intelligent” welding machines were a great step forward
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
C.S: We started the year very well with a lot of orders and we are working to maintain this trend throughout the year.
