Vifesa’s Technical Department explores and provides solutions to any need presented by the costumer’s requirements, approaching facilities, making studies of products turnkey plants and staff training.
Interview with Emilio Deza Ferrero, Sales Manager at Vifesa.
Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Emilio Deza Ferrero: As a leading company in the production of machines for the manufacture of pipes and special concrete elements, our main activity is focused on three areas: Machinery for the production of concrete pipes and box culverts with and without reinforcement, egg laying machines for the production of any kind of concrete pieces and machinery for the production of electro welded steel cages for concrete pipes and for the production of round and square piles. As complementary machines to these three main areas, VIFESA has loading test machines and hydraulic test machines for the concrete precast industry.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
E.D.F: Practically unlimited range that covers all the needs in the market. Our wide range includes concrete pipes making machines, cage welding machines, egg laying machines for the production of special concrete pieces, machine accessories including loading resistance testing, hydraulic testing, ring cleaning machine and hydraulic turning device, and vibrators wet cast moulds.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
E.D.F: KMV machine, in its different models, is a new philosophy in the production of concrete pieces. Its manufacturing system (egg laying machines) offers some advantages such as speed and versatility of pieces. The production is based on the filling of the corresponding moulds placed on a holding mould platform, which once vibrated and compacted, it goes up, down and tilts. The vibration is individualized. Depending on the model, the production system will be manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic and only one operator is needed. The working cycle is very fast, it can manufacture a multitude of pieces per cycle.
Another great feature of these series of machines is the adaptability of being able to make different pieces per cycle with different shapes. In addition, these machines are designed and customized.
For very large pieces we have the models 2000-3000 and 6000 series. The production of box culverts is another possibility, increasing the performance of any other type of machine.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?
E.D.F: To consolidate same markets like the one in South East Asia and East Europe countries.
