INVISACOOK, THE MODERN KITCHEN APPLIANCE

Invisacook Europe, based in Germany, is the subsidiary of Invisacook Inc. from the USA, responsible for the European market extending to Asia and South Africa. They have been active for six years and take pride in being the original source for invisible induction cooktops. The company’s connection to Invisacook Inc. allows them to be globally active with dealers in many countries.

Interview with Eike Fuchs, CEO at Invisacook Europe GmbH.

Easy engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Eike Fuchs: Our main partners are kitchen studios, stonemasons, architects, and designers who convey our products to end consumers. These diverse partnerships enable us to make our innovative induction cooktops accessible to a broad audience.

We develop high-quality induction cooktops that are installed beneath a ceramic countertop, making them invisible. During the cooking process, the cookware is placed directly on the countertop, eliminating the need for the end customer to see a black cooktop. This preserves the beauty of the ceramic countertop and creates more space for food preparation and cooking on the surface.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

E.F: We are continuously developing new products that align with our core concept of the ‘invisible.’ While our main product is, of course, the invisible cooktop, we also offer other products such as our InvisaCharge. InvisaCharge is a wireless charger for phones that operates through countertops up to 5cm thick. This marks the end of cable clutter and searching for the right cable when charging your phone.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

E.F: Alongside InvisaCook as the cooktop, we also offer InvisaCharge, the wireless phone charger, and InvisaCookware, our specially designed cookware tailored for use with InvisaCook.

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

E.F: The market situation is highly volatile, and it varies significantly from country to country. There are regions were establishing such a high-quality product is challenging. However, we are very pleased with the progress and the interest in our products worldwide. We observe that there have been few innovations in the kitchen industry over the last 2-3 years. This has generated even greater interest in our offerings.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

E.F: Invisible induction is the absolute trend in the kitchen industry. In conjunction with the excellent quality of ceramic countertops, Invisacook stands out as a highlight. Imagine not seeing a black cooktop anymore. You can use the space for preparation or simply let the structure and design of the ceramic countertop shine. It remains true: the best parties happen in the kitchen. The more space you have there, the better. And there is certainly the ‘AHA’ factor when you start cooking.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

E.F: Fall 2023 saw the collaboration between us and an Italian company in developing dining tables with Invisacook. Imagine this: sitting comfortably with friends around the dining table, enjoying a glass of wine. Then, right at the table, you start cooking or keeping various dishes warm. An absolute highlight.

E.E: What estimations do you have for the beginning of 2024?

E.F: Our assessment is that within the kitchen industry, there is still a bit of waiting to see how the overall global situation develops. Nevertheless, every company will find its own path. It remains exciting, and we, for our part, are optimistic.
