Florian Kogler: The main areas of activity for our company encompass the entire value chain of sodium ion battery storage solutions. We start by procuring high-quality sodium ion cells from trusted suppliers. These cells serve as the foundation for our cutting-edge modules, which are meticulously designed and manufactured to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, we develop advanced control units that perfectly integrate the modules to a storage system, enhancing the efficiency and functionality. Our batteries are carefully connected to inverters, enabling efficient energy conversion and seamless integration into existing power infrastructure.

E.E: What’s the news about new products? 

F.K: We are thrilled to announce that our prototype sodium ion battery storage system has been successfully manufactured and is currently undergoing rigorous testing. Our dedicated team of developers is working diligently to ensure its performance and reliability meet our stringent standards. Simultaneously, we are actively working on establishing compatibility with various inverter types. This strategic approach allows us to provide customers with a wide variety of possibilities, enabling seamless integration into their existing energy systems and maximizing flexibility in their energy management. We are confident that this connectivity enhancement will further enhance the value and versatility of our sodium ion battery storage systems.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

F.K: Our product range spans from small-scale residential storage systems to large-scale commercial and industrial solutions. We offer scalable sodium ion battery storage systems that can cater to a wide range of energy capacities, from a few kilowatt-hours for individual households to several hundred megawatt-hours for large-scale projects.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

F.K: The market of energy storages is growing dramatically, with a 99% share on lithium based technologies. Sodium Ion on the other hand has an exciting stage of growth and development. As a relatively new entrant, our innovative sodium ion battery storage systems have garnered significant attention and interest from various sectors. We are witnessing a rising demand for reliable and scalable energy storage solutions, creating a favorable market environment for our company.

F.K: Market trends in the energy storage industry point towards a growing emphasis on sustainability, reliability, and scalability. Also operating temperature range and c-rates are an big advantage compared to other stationary storage systems.

F.K: Our only and most innovative product marketed to date is our advanced sodium ion battery storage system. This breakthrough technology harnesses the power of sodium ions to provide efficient and reliable energy storage solutions. The innovative design and scalability of our systems set them apart from traditional battery storage options, making them an ideal choice for both residential and commercial applications.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?

F.K: As we look towards 2023, we are optimistic about the prospects of our company. With the growing demand for energy storage solutions, we anticipate significant market expansion in stationary storage systems and increased adoption of sodium ion battery technology.
