Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
While we have started our journey in automotive, over the years, we have expanded our operations and product offerings to meet the evolving demands of various industries. In 2014, we further enhanced our capabilities with the establishment of a new 23,000m2 facility, integrating moulding, R&D, and electronic production under one roof. With a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility, our R&D centre drives continuous improvement and fosters a culture of innovation, making custom production our strong side. Today, as a Turkish company exporting to six continents, we remain steadfast in our dedication to supporting our partners with their need for motion solutions.
We primarily focus on manufacturing electric motors for a wide range of industries and HVAC units that are used in commercial vehicles. Kormas actively engages in electric city bus projects, showcasing its dedication to sustainable transportation solutions. Furthermore, our extensive product range encompasses various voltage and power options, addressing to various to automation needs. With our customized production capabilities, Kormas motors drive a range of applications including automated doors, stairlifts, medical equipment, lawn mowers, textile machinery, cold drink dispensers, agricultural machinery, and more. In short, we offer solutions for motion in nearly any application.
E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?
We have been already supplying brushless motors (BLDC) for elevator manufacturers and have expanded into producing HVAC units with highly energy-efficient BLDC motors which supports EV public transportation vehicles now. This marks a shift towards being a reliable partner in EV sector.
E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?
We actually offer a wide range of products, including DC motors with diameters ranging from ⌀40 to ⌀102, operating between 12V-72V and from 10W to 700W which can be used in a wide range of applications. In addition to electric motors, Kormas manufactures HVAC units such as axial fans, radial blowers, turbo ventilators, convectors, defrosters, pumps, and valves.
E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
Demand for DC motors is growing, especially in automotive. Also, the emergence of smart manufacturing initiatives is driving a market growth which has influence on our orientation towards automation, while we strengthen our presence in automotive with the introduction of EV, another driving factor in the growth of our sector.

Innovation is integral to our identity; we thrive on crafting solutions for diverse motion requirements. The range of power, voltage, and size options we offer continually expands to meet the evolving needs of the ecosystem.
E.E: What estimations do you have for the beginning of 2024?
2024 got off to a rapid start for us. We ventured into new industries like home appliances, receiving unexpected demands from various sectors that rely on automation. Also, considering the rise in activity from EV manufacturers we reckon EV is going to be prevalent in public transportation in future, setting our expectations for 2024 very high.
