E.E: What’s the news about new products?
MVI AudioVisual: MVI is constantly developing new feature sets based on requests from end customers, market research and new hardware to connect to. Our latest development is based on remote participation with an in-room experience. Unlike traditional video conference solutions that are simply glued on to AV solutions, MVI AudioVisual EasyConf Connect is fully embedded and provides the remote user the same representation and experience as the in-room participant. Secure with full rights management and a controlled meeting order experience with request to speak and voting by web browser or app. Furthermore, the remote participant has the same representation as the in-room participants, and when addressing the meeting they too have framed video with lower third graphics.
A more recent development from MVI AudioVisual is the connection of our camera control software to ceiling/beamforming microphones. Today we can automate camera tracking based on the tracking ability of the beamforming ceiling microphone. Beyond being able to frame the active talker and manage camera control and switching automatically, we are also able to deliver lower third graphics to display a logo and name of the individual who’s actively speaking. The software also allows the camera output to be easily connected to the most popular video conferencing platforms.

MVI AudioVisual: The software is modular, it is based on modules such as EasyCam Camera control, EasyConf Conference Automation and the EasyConf Connect remote participation module. This allows the client to adapt the solution to both their current and future needs.
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
MVI AudioVisual: The market we’re in is mostly AV for local council chambers and other large conference chambers. The market itself is underserved, and solutions are often pieced together with highly customized AV equipment and bespoke programming which does not adapt well to the client’s workflow.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
MVI AudioVisual: Conference automation is often viewed as a part of AV Solution in a conference chamber. We view this automation from the perspective of the workflow of the people in the chamber, which is fundamentally different than seeing it from an equipment-based perspective. All the AV Equipment in the room, is there to support the workflow, and our software manages these assets in an organic manner. Our software ingests the agenda, allows people to work with their conference solution, cast votes, collect data by simply running their meeting. Cameras automatically frame active microphones, votes cast are automatically displayed on screen, data can be transported to other parties such as document management solutions, video streaming providers and so forth. We see some great improvement in The Netherlands and comparing these to the same clientele in other countries, globally, we know we can create those same improvements for their local council chambers in other jurisdictions.

MVI AudioVisual: MVI AudioVisual’s software is divided into three main software suites called: EasyConf, EaysCam and EasyConf Connect. Every one of them is innovative to different clientele. We would like to point out Our EasyCam, as being a suite offers the client a very effective and affordable software substitute for camera mixers and videowall processors. EasyConf creates the conference automation, providing the ability to connect to and ingest agendas, manage voting, control lower third graphics creating a seamless workflow experience for the client. and EasyConf Connect as being the most intuitive and inclusive way of remotely attending structured meetings.

MVI AudioVisual: Product demand is strong so we anticipate MVI’s software implementation should continue to show strong growth in those areas we currently serve in Europe, Canada, and Australia. For 2024 we will also focus on development of other markets such as the Asia Pacific region, and the United States of America.
