Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Domenico Santoro: As manufacturing company, we proudly produce long-lasting containers for all purposes from water storage to oil, wine, beer, vinegar, honey conservation. All our items come to life in our factory from high-quality stainless steel coils and bars and thanks to our expertise and competence this simple raw material turns into special containers day by day. Then, these products go all over the world to help our beloved clients in any way possible.
E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?
D.S: In the latter period we decided to broaden our horizons and to improve our range of products by proving new features on the market. First of all we are bettering our mass production with new innovative machineries which will maximize our daily manufacturing and help our skilled workers at best. Not yet satisfied with this, we needed to move forward and we designed a new fully welded oil cruet to propose to our clients who start loving it. Moreover, we manufactured a brand new item in the culinary industry: our SWING, a big pan with stainless steel support useful for large quantities of pasta, sauces and so on. It’s an incredible product perfect to be enjoyed in all its magnificence during events and parties.
E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?
D.S: As previously stated, our catalogue consists of different storage containers for all purposes. We might start to mention our Europa model drums useful for all kind of liquids like water, oil, wine, honey etc. and successively to bring our range of welded barrels up; these tanks suitable both for private clients who store their homemade wine and olive oil and for companies which deal with large volumes of liquids. Other noteworthy products are our big saucepans, beer fermenters, wheeled containers, honey ripeners and kombucha drums.
E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
D.S: Our company is already present in hundreds of countries around the world and our current goal is to bring a SansoneInox item anywhere in the world in everyone’s home. We daily export our goods throughout Europe and in America, especially in the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, but clearly, we don’t stop there since our product reach Australia, Israel, Japan, South Africa and North African countries.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
D.S: Market is recently moving to other shores more aware of right preservation of food’s quality. People are more conscious of how liquids should be stored in order to keep the freshness and the nutritional values of what they choose to retain, that’s why we represent a solid and ideal solution for those who achieved consciousness about this key point for mankind. Moreover, this crucial step goes hand in hand with another primary concern of modern times: the reduction of plastics use. Our stainless steel products reduce the environmental impact of plastics and we daily push for solutions not harmful for health.
E.E: What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
D.S: Our most innovative products are all our range of Europa model drums. The welded drum is better in terms of quality thanks to its butt welding (an innovative technique which sets the welding in the center of the drum). This type of manufacturing process facilitates the cleaning procedure which is simplified by avoiding that food residues can settle in the fold of the drum’s bottom. Europa model drums’ bottom is rounded and curved, deprived of the seam at the base like a common steel pot. But innovation does not end here. Nowadays we are undertaking new challenges concerning barrels’ production, but you will find out soon.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2024?
D.S: 2024 has already begun and we started focusing on keeping our quality standards high and satisfying for all our customers. We would like to spread our brand in every corner of the world by assuring excellent products not only from their functional advantages but also in terms of design, sustainability and environmental footprint. New challenges await us with the aim of continuing this path of steady growth.
