Interview with Kamil Struminski – CEO and Dominik Nowak CEO at Strumin Equipment.
Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company and its activities.
Strumin Equipment: Strumin Equipment is a Polish company with nearly 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing safety devices and systems for working at heights. It is the market leader in Poland for the production of loading platforms. One of Strumin’s strengths is having its own design office and production facilities, setting it apart from the competition. The company’s philosophy is to create products based on the principle of “Simple and Safe.”
E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?
S.E: Strumin’s extensive product range includes several different devices and systems for securing work at heights, as well as equipment that guarantees efficiency, fast work pace, and most importantly, safety on the construction site. Most of these devices are easy to assemble, disassemble, and use, yet Strumin regularly organizes training for customers on the safe use of the equipment.
Among Strumin’s flagship products are loading platforms, which the company was the first to introduce to the Polish market. These construction platforms enable the transportation of materials and equipment on the construction site, making the transfer of materials between the site and any floor quick and safe. Their size and load capacity allow for the placement of materials, containers, self-dumping bins, and many other devices used in construction work. The platform can be assembled in just a few minutes, saving time both in relocating it and in transporting materials.
The “Gallows” is another highly popular and innovative proposal for securing work at heights. This fall arrest system protects against falls during construction and assembly work and can be mounted in various types of sockets, adapting to individual conditions on the construction site. The Gallows works perfectly with the Life Line, another safety system. The main advantage of using the Life Line at heights is the minimization of the pendulum effect in the event of a fall. The mobile anchor point allows free movement within a wide work area. The simplicity of the system allows easy adaptation to various construction conditions. The Life Line poles are compatible with all types of sockets offered by the STRUMIN Safety System.
An ideal tool for preventing the theft of valuable tools on the construction site is the Solidbox, available from Strumin in three sizes. The box has a multi-point locking and lid latching system, with a hidden lock, and despite its size, it is easy to transport using either a crane or pallet truck, or by attaching wheels to it.
E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active? What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
S.E: Strumin is a leader in height safety equipment and innovations that bring convenience and order to construction sites. The largest construction projects in Poland use Strumin’s solutions. The company is also gaining clients worldwide, signing contracts in European countries and India, and participating in international trade shows.
E.E: What estimations do you have for the beginning of 2024?
S.E: The construction industry currently faces several challenges related to adapting to global trends, one of which is the economics of the work performed. Strumin’s offer fits well into these assumptions, which is why the company continues to attract new customers, and the outlook for the coming years is optimistic.
