Top Form Group born in 1970 like a manufacturer and distributor of components for furniture, was the ground-breaking in Europe with postforming technology, which was a big aesthetic and functional revolution in the sector. Since the beginning, with the objective of offering product, high quality and adapted solutions to customer’s needs. 

The company’s central office is in Yuncos (Toledo), counting on 4 fabrication plant in Madrid and Toledo, a total of 150.000 m² that operating by the highest quality and environmentally standards, in addiction of the 11 logistic and joined furniture centres distributed in 3 different countries. It’s one of the most important groups of furniture sector and one of the few who count on a complete production system, since raw materials to end product. 

Count on team of 400 persons who stand out by their high commitment capacity, implication and teamwork to confront the daily challenge with rigour and responsibility, with the goal of getting the best score for the client.

Interview with Miguel Ángel García Vallejo, Marketing Manager at Top Form Group.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Miguel Ángel García Vallejo: In our company we have two business areas:

The first, the components furniture area for home, with specialty in kitchen furniture. We offer a high variety of products following market trends for superstores, manufacturers, wholesaler, DIY and professionals. In our products you can find from the board, the integrated blank … to worktop, bartop, modules and finished doors.

And the second, the kitchen furniture division. We are manufacturers of kitchen furniture for important brands nationally and internationally and in addition, we have two own brands that are leaders in their segments in Spain. We also offer a complete service with measurement, installation and after-sales, specialized in the Contract.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

M.Á.G.V: Our evolution process is constant; we have a specialised professional timework that is responsible for analysing the market and detect the needs of our clients to offering them a professional service.  

This year we expand our designs, added new colour in our PET product in the PREMIUM and ECO-FEEL, like storm grey, off-white, Nantes green, Oxford blue and coconut and terra tones. This are the trends tones for excellent. In addition, we were improving the matte, silky and anti-fingerprint finishes. 

For this 2023 we are working on the launch of new supports that provide added value to the industry and especially, to our customers.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

M.Á.G.V: We offer a wide furniture component range in conjunction with an integral service on the entire project and an updated product offer.

We are present on all the productive process and in this way, we offer an innovative and complete range.

Doors: we have 5 different variety covering (melamine, laminated hpl, PET, lac and wood), more than 15 finishes and 10 door models, sand out an integrated handle line in PET in one piece.   

Worktop and bartop: Is one of our star products, offered a highest personalisation between the different components to give a personal touch for every kitchen. Available by some quality, standard and supra in the recovering par excellence for horizontal surfaces: hpl laminate

Blank and board: We offer components for others to transform our product. We have 3 recovering (melamine, hpl laminate and pet). The blanks are available in integrated handles in J, U and 45º.

Complements: we have Cabinet/unit, accessories and hardware, also another accessory and complements to customised any project. 

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

M.Á.G.V: We come from a sector that has been badly crushed by the world economic crisis and that had a hard time getting up. But currently we are in full growth, reinforced by the pandemic where we realized the importance of keeping the home in top condition both in terms of design and functionality.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

M.Á.G.V: The new market trends are based on flexibility, sustainability and technology in terms of forms of production. And as for designs and materials:

  • Neutral unicolor designs, to create smooth and minimalist spaces and elegance with dark tones. But instead, two colors stand out, not as neutral as dark blue and green that is beginning to have a boom.
  • Matte finishes with integrated handles
  • Natural wood effect
  • Products with sustainable covering. In our case we have chosen PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), a product 100% made of recycled and recyclable material.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

M.Á.G.V: We have developed technology in the manufacture of components that allows us to manufacture doors with an integrated handle in a single piece. With this we achieve several advantages: the color and finish of the handle part is identical to the front because it is the same material, there are no joints between one part and another, thus avoiding possible filtration and of course we are using an ecological material such as It is the PET, with all the benefits it has.

In terms of furniture, we fit out our kitchens with the best accessories that make the end user enjoy great comfort, functionality and use of space.

For us, innovating is not only investing in R+D+I, developing products or improving existing ones. Innovation is in every action taken daily, which is why it is necessary to review and analyse each phase of our activity.

We investigate new formulas to increase productivity, preserving quality and investing in machines of latest technology.

E.E: What estimations do you have for the rest of 2022?

M.Á.G.V: We have ended the year with growth of approximately 20% compared to the previous year and we hope to be able to continue this line of growth in the coming years.
